In the centre of Montreux, an ode to Italy. A cosmopolitan Trattoria Brasserie serving Italian specialties and seafood, right in the centre of Montreux overlooking the lake. Relaxed atmosphere and unique décor, with tasty traditional cuisine according to
Walked down from hotel and got a seat right away even though it was very crowded. Ordered Vitello Tonnato, but they were out, so tried the Vitello Tartare which was delicious. I then had the spaghetti tricolore with addition of pancetta and this was perfectly prepared. Nice wine list - friendly and attentive service

After reading the excellent reviews for this pub, we decided to try it out. Nice casual pub with many draft beer choices. Burgers, fish & chips, chicken tandoori! Wide variety of food and very relaxed! Breakfast all day!Beautiful lake view. This place is a big winner.

The Museum is situated in a historical building in the old town of Montreux and it is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station. Founded in the early years of the worldwide known Montreux Jazz Festival The Museum has been the place
The best experience, the best meal, and the absolute best service our entire stay in Montreux. I ordered the La fribourgeoise half-half (traditional fondue) and my husband ordered the Trilogy BBQ Grill; the combination was perfect to share! The fondue was delicious, served with perfectly risen bread. The BBQ grill was so much fun, and the carousel of sauces gave us so many options (I loved the garlic, he loved the curry, we both loved the spicy!). Four reasons this places has to be on your short list:1.) The main meals listed above2.) The views3.) The service; the two women and gentleman that night were the most gracious and warm we encountered our whole stay in Montreux. And 4.) The Swiss meringue with ice cream and double cream Gruyére (That cream, hidden at the bottom of an already decadent dessert, was absolutely delicious, and would be enough to visit Restaurant Le Museum alone)Donât read any more reviews, donât browse the menu for what looks good, just go. I promise you wonât be disappointed.

Allow yourself to drift away to the sound of our wonderful music, let the rhythms take you on a journey of experience, whether tasting our excellent international cuisine, or simply relaxing and enjoying a drink in our bar. When evening falls, the lights
We booked a table here for my birthday whilst staying in Montreux on the strength of the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Every course was delicious as well as the wine and cocktails. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were just sorry we didnât discover it earlier in our trip so we could go again! Switzerland is not a cheap place to eat out but we found the food to be excellent value for the quality and service received. As it was a Tuesday night it was quite quiet when we arrived but several tables filled up during the evening creating a lovely atmosphere. Be sure to book as it is not a large restaurant. If staying in Montreux it is easy to get to by train or bus with a short walk from the nearest stop.

An incredible line-up of traditional and house cocktails envied by many in Switzerland! Offering simple, fun gourmet eating coupled with a wholehearted, unpretentious welcome, Funky Claude's Bar is a great place to drop by or hang out late into the night,
Stopped at Funky Claude's for only a late night drink and to see the place. Juice non alcoholic drink (name=Drum) and Gin / Tonic / juice drink (name = Billy Idol) cost was 45 swiss franks. A little expensive, but this is a famous place and if you want in you need to pay. Worth it for a drink and check mark on the bucket list.Dear ars_sr,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Funky Claude's Bar. We strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Best regards.Cinzia R.Assistante F&B Manager

We thought we would treat ourselves and stay in the best hotel in Montreux. We were surprised that the room was small and tired with a rusty shower door which leaked. On arriving we expected and were told there would be water in the room. There wasnât. We wanted to make two decaf coffees there was only one. Three teabags of different types, we like the same tea. The milk was the horrible little containers. No biscuits or fruit without paying. $5 for a very small toblerone or bag of crisps , $19 for a miniature scotch! A rip off !!! I went to reception to ask about the water and was told it would be delivered in the evening. I said there was a trolley outside our door with water and small platters of fruit. I was told this was for rooms who paid $1500 a night ! Us paupers were only paying $440 !!!!!On check in they swiped an extra $100 per night for breakages or extras we may spend. Astonishing !! They told us all hotels now do this. We informed them we had just returned from an excellent NH hotel in Turin who didnât and looked after us superbly offering us soft drinks and snacks on arrival in reception and information about the city. The public areas are very splendid and so was the view of the lake from our room for which we naturally paid more. The restaurants were good if you are ok paying $34 for a club sandwich and $9.50 for a bottle of sparkling water !Obviously this place was not for mere mortals like us. I pointed out we have been better treated in a Holiday Inn. Five star ? Yes a great spa and facilities but very poor customer service.

An especially laid-back slice of luxury, directly inspired by the atmosphere of the legendary music festival, and decorated with a plethora of Claude Nobs memorabilia. The generous cuisine, combined with a selection of the region's best wines and irresist
CTMansRidgefield, Connecticut1141312Pending reviewUnderstatedMontreux Jazz Cafe is among the more casual, less expensive restaurants in the Fairmont Montreux Palace hotel. The restaurant faces the street and is off to one side of the main lobby registration desk. The restaurant is decorated in jazz decor. The menu has a nice variety of local cuisine including fish, meat, and even a burger. Dishes are well prepared and delicious. Expect small surprises. Staff is very attentive. Prices are moderate by local standards. Would dine here again. Many thanks for your kind words describing your recent experience at the Montreux Jazz Café. I am delighted to read that you and your family enjoyed your time with us. I have shared your kind comment with all staff members. It would be a pleasure to welcoming you back to the Swiss Riviera in the not too distant future. Best regards,Cinzia R.Assistante F&B Manager

An other restaurant where we ate twice! The first time we ordered steak frite (deemed the best steak, anywhere, in a long time), and sole - perfectly cooked and flavorful. Both came with the very best fries - crisp, not greasy. Second time we went Italian, with a ravioli special and penne with zucchini and eggplant. Both came with a rose (pink) sauce, not too rich. Homemade tiramisu both times! First evening a customer at the next table offered to help with English translation - introduced himself as a neighborhood volunteer firefighter. The firehouse was around the corner on our walk back to our hotel. Locals come in for beer and wine, and to watch sports on TV. Very good service.

Welcome to the Auberge de Chaulin ideally located on the heights of Montreux and enjoying a panoramic view of Lake Geneva, Stéphanie offers you a refined cuisine of season and Christopher welcomes you warmly and advises you local wines to accompany it.
Très Bon!This is what I felt after eating the most tasty and succulent preparation of duck at this restaurant. The accompanying sauce was just delicious. Right from complimentary starters to the main course, everything was perfectly done. Merci Beaucoup for a lovely time. Wishing the owner, a wonderful French couple, great success and happy times ahead.

Featuring refined yet relaxed dining spaces, an outdoor terrace and a cocktail bar, MP's BAR & GRILL is the premier grill location in the region. The interior is a consummate fusion of belle époque elegance and arresting contemporary aesthetics, realized
Quite a shame really, the location is spectacular and it certainly gives a luxurious first impression, but the food was quite average for the price range and category itâs in. We had waited a bit for our drinks but that was okay because we were happy to be out and about. We had waited a bit fir our food, too but that was okay until in both my and my wifeâs order something was missing. Not really a problem but the food was only luke warm and by the time our side dishes came the food was tepid. Not so bad i guess but the food wasnât really very good, average would be an honest evaluation. We had wanted to get a bottle of wine as well but when a bottle of Dieter Meierâs âPuroâ ( which is a fantastic argentinian Malbec) was on the card for 85chf that stopped us from ordering. We live here and at a local grocery store the bottle is 17chf so i followed my 3x the price rule. I would have gone up to 65 for it but not 5 times their purchase price.Service was amateurish and i felt that it was a mix of students and moderately experienced wait staff. So to sum it up, the restaurant gives the impression of higher end luxury cuisine and charges for it but only delivers average food and service. I recommend you look elsewhere unless youâre in the hotel anyway and just want to eat without taking a walk. A shame, it could be so much nicer with a more experienced chef and service......Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at MP's Bar & Grill. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us.
