The host recomended several restaurants in Chioggia, saying that actuall all restaurants there were good. And this is true! But... When I first ate at Bella Venezia I realized that it was the BEST one in Chioggia. I went there on the following day - and again the food and service - everything was fantastic. Great choice of fish, wine, desserts. Charming staff. And the owner - very hospitable lady who treats her clients as friends. And the atmosphere is so relaxing with birds singing and no noise coming from the square which is just around the corner. Enjoy your meal and relax!Grazie mille per le mie cene buonissime!

Nice restaurant with sea food and pizzas. We have found this restaurant with help of the trip advisor and it was a good choice. We ate salmon with cheese and for the main pasta with seafood and it was delicious, also the dessert was good and off course red wine. Staff was very friendly and polite.

We ate at Il Gabbiano 2 several times of the past few years. Quality and service remained at the same high level. The restaurant offers in inside and outside seating area, outside with a plastic room/walls to protect from the rain. The food is excellent! We usually try other restaurants and then still go back to Il Gabbiano because it is much better. Celebrated my birthday here recently and it was the best choice!

The Bistro, very nice room inspired by the most famous Parisian cafes, is located in the waterfront and allows you to stay outdoors thanks to its broad square overlooking precisely the crosswalk. It is a place to enjoy happy hour and drink a good glass of
Every year, we visit Sottomarina to see my partners family and Bistro is the first stop always. The staff are always friendly, helpful and with a smile. The owner, Federico is always attentive and is visibly hardworking, with his customer's happiness is main priority always. Eating al fresco can be difficult in Sottomarina with the mosquitos but they have several effective devices to keep them away, which makes dining outside a joy rather than a pain. Now, moving on to the food....lots of choice, the menu is in several languages and using fresh tasty ingredients which is evident in the taste. Every time we come, the waiters look bemused as I order the same thing for the duration of our stay. Filet steak with green peppercorn sauce. For one reason and one rain only......it's quite simply the best steak I have ever eaten in my life so why deny myself of this beautiful dish? This restaurant is a credit to Sottomarina and this is evident by the happy staff and even happier customers.
