We first came here ten years ago and have tried most dishes on the menu. This time we returned after a four-year absence and found it as good as ever. The magret de canard was perfectly cooked and came with the usual generous, creative garnish of fruit and veg. The side dish of mushrooms and veg cooked in garlic and rosemary was delicious, though Iâd have liked some of the veg cooked a little more. There was plenty of delicious sauce. My husband had a Savoyard pizza with extra Langres cheese. In the past weâve had their version of this tasty cheese baked whole, but it comes with charcuterie and just felt too substantial tonight. Other dishes weâd recommend include the mignon of pork with plums and the rump steak with foie gras. The andoillette (tripe sausage) was the only thing we didnât care for and itâs no longer on the menu. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is cosy in winter. In summer weâve sat in the pleasant garden. Itâs always full, mostly of locals, which tells its own story. The price is extremely reasonable, thirty euros for our two meals. Highly recommend.

Merc
T/A isn't a perfect system for rating restaurants as I've often commented previously so while we rated this as Average, it was in fact BETTER than average but a few little things meant it was hard to rate it Very Good. So, on the plus side: Service was delightful, courteous and helpful, no problems, very charming staff. The wine list was varied and had something for most palettes and most budgets, again no problem,So to the food, which for us was a little mixed. My wife had the salade gezier to start and loved it, really good. I had the escargot and this was also good but a little over salted ( and I like salty food so it was a bit too much for me!). Mains for my wife...she had the cannette which came with a good pepper sauce but the cannette was really quite tough..hard to say whether it was the bird or the cooking. I had the veal T bone which was cooked nicely and very tasty. The vegetables were a little disappointing....tinned peas and over cooked carrots, courgette and bell pepper, so that's something we'd suggest needs improving. The bread was very good and the cheese plate excellent. We both had profiteroles which my wife liked a lot but I found the chou pastry rather dry and flakey and I'd guess it wasn't home made. So all up a mixed result and average value for a 31 euro menu....I'd expect a little more. Would we return again......probably yes.Sorry for my english may improve. I am so sorry you did not like vegetable, but you can't say it was tinned peas, no way. For the cannette, may be it was an australian one came by bicycle. No, I am joking of course, but it is a natural products, I always select high quality, but sometimes ....If you talked that to me I certainly offerred something to you, with great pleasure, you were a so nice customerNext time if you want.

We were staying at the Ibis and the restaurant was included in the price. It wasn't bad, my pasta was ok but my wife's steak was a little tough. I had to ask for my wine after ordering. It wasn't that bad but not exceptional so marked as good.
