It had been several years we had not returned to La Fontaine Aux Perles and this visit was a delight. We chose the " menu du marché" and we were very pleased. The food was very well presented, amply portioned and very tasty.Service was profesional by a waiter who was very engaged. Overall highly recomended for a gastronomic experience!

A nice little traditional restaurant near the city centre. With a warm and charming ambience, le Bistrot du quai offers you home-made cooking with fresh seasonal products. From Monday to Friday, you can taste traditional French âgastronomyâ, classical dis
We found this restaurant through Tripadvisor while in Rennes, and made a reservation by phone an hour before lunch. From that moment, I had a good feeling about the place. The friendliness over the phone in spite of less than perfect French on my side, was inspiring.Once arrived at the nice looking corner building, we were seated with the same friendliness as had been experienced by phone. The choices were somewhat limited, but absolutely adequate, and the quality of the food and the presentation of the dishes was all top notch. On a Monday, the place filled up to approx. a 90% level, which is quite impressive. Most people seemed to be local, and we appeared to be the only tourists there. But, we were treated as locals, and had a most pleasant meal - at a very reasonable price. Good value for money!Having our summer house an hour away, we will definitely come back. Thanks a lot for this very kind advice. It had been a real pleasure to welcome you and we immediately saw that you are found of homemade cooking and nice wines. The whole team hopes we'll see you again when you come back to Rennes. Thanks again.

This bar and restaurant is in a lovely setting beside the River Vilaine and surprisingly tranquil given that it lies within the Rennes ring road close to a Carrefour Hypermarket. The menu was imaginative and varied. The restaurant filled quickly with locals - a sure sign of good quality as there are a number of other restaurants close by. The food was superbly cooked and the service was excellent - attentive without pressure. While we ate we were entertained by the owner (Edgar?) demonstrating his cocktail skills very adeptly and by ducks on the river. Easily missed but if you're staying in Rennes this is a very good place to eat. Worth booking at weekends

Passing by in France, a friend recommended this place to me. I am usually quite fussy with food but this time I really wasn't disappointed! the food was excellent! fresh food and typically french. 1 waitress and 1 chef which makes it a very friendly restaurant, the waitress was lovely, friendly and warm and the cook came to ask us what we thought about the food. the price was reasonable too.I highly recommend it! this is my new favourite spot in Rennes.

Although Côt'& Boeuf is not located in the centre of the city, it is one of the best restaurants we tried while staying in Rennes. Its meals were very nice, regarding both quality and quantity, while as a desert you should definitely order its creme brulee â maybe the best we tasted in our trip. The atmosphere is very nice, the personnel is smiling and helpful, while the person who cooks/roasts the meet knows very well his job! I would definitely suggest this restaurant to anyone who is hungry around Cesson-Sevigne!

We stayed in the hotel near the restaurant and being tired from our journey were a little early, we were however seated and provided with a menu. We ordered pizzas which were both delicious , margarita and dijonaise. The service was efficient and the restaurant quickly filled up, always a good sign to a visitor. We both enjoyed our experience and look forward to trying more of the menu if we visit again as the food being delivered to adjoining tables looked very good.

We celebrated there the birthday of my daughter. It was the second time we visited this restaurant. It is a simple place, no fussy decoration, calm with nice atmosphere. The staff was very polite and helpful. We ordered champaign (for the celebration) and then 2 of the Paris menus and one New York menu. The food was delicious. A small remark only for the sweets which were not at the level of the food, still nice though. The prices were really good for such a quality of food. We will visit again.

We stopped at the ibis just up the road and were directed here by the staff as the ibis restaurant was closed. We were glad to be honest..a lovely meal of pork followed by a delightful crepe all swilled down by a nice cidre.

A best restaurant in a cozy bistro Rennes restaurant. On La Reserve restaurant is a cheap restaurant in Bretagne in historic downtown Rennes. A traditional cuisine for dinner in a nice atmosphere and friendly atmosphere. A restaurant with advantages to be
We were left with very positive impressions following our discovery of this friendly restaurant tucked away towards the upper end of the main street in Rennes. The staff (a couple of young men) were friendly, chatty, and efficient. The food was not just good but full of surprises: my wife loved her lentil salad with duck hearts - not something she'd tried before - whilst I was blown away by my main course of veal with carrot puree, because the puree contained kaffir lime, and that really worked. Desserts too were imaginative, with the Rennes Brest a stand out. Great wines from a short but really interesting list. Of the many restaurants we've tried in Rennes, a city we return to regularly, this really left memories.
