I visited this establishment for lunch one rainy afternoon and found the service to be outstanding. The fresh food is excellent, and the modern decor only adds to the experience. Doubling up as a caffe that serves some outstanding confectionary and coffee "Muu" really is the full package. The only downside is that the prices can be slightly higher than you would be used to paying in an equivalent eatery.I recommend and certainly will return.

Prezzo intorno sotto i 20⬠a testa.

I will write this review in English, although I do not think this restaurant will have so many international visitors. But, who knows! Possibly during EXPO 2015, despite its unconfortable position, they can show a good real Italian cousine... made by real Chinese-Italian guys.I have been here only once; we tried pasta with swordfish, olives and cherry-tomatoes and, I confess, it was good indeed. Many people in the restaurant had pizza, it has to be good as well. Waiters are kind and quite fast. Desserts are fine but nothing special to remark.Price is medium-low, so I was very satisfied for the dinner. Cons: there was an annoying smell of fried fish. I think my fish was very good; the smell was probably due to a not good air system in the kitchen: this is not a good thing. However, if you are around Legnano and you want to spend some time with friends or family and have a simple (cheap) dinner, try "Al Borgo Antico". This is one of the best fish place on earth, it's just heaven for who likes fish. But the most unbelievable thing, is that if you get the chance to speak with the owner, he will tell you his story about being from Bergamo (just below the Alps) and being passionate about something that is not in his nature, the sea. All you eat there is absolutely fresh and tasty, so it's strongly recommended to eat lots of raws! Enjoy!

Ristorante moderno, riapre dopo due anni di trasloco a Milao Marittima con un volto nuovo, più easy e informale, aperto solo a cena per aperitivi, cene e dopocena
I am loath to use superlatives when it comes to restaurants and hotels simply because there is always the possibility that one evening you can enjoy the benefits of of good luck only to be disappointed the next time you visit. I have had to downgrade a few places in the past for that very reason.I will venture a guess saying that La Piazzetta will simply see its fame and appreciation increase as time goes by.The points I noticed were:a not too vast menu with items that all seemed to merit being chosen. This would indicate a preference for quality over quantity. Many Italian restaurants often offer 45 or 50 different dishes.Statistically it would be a challenge to excel with each and every one. Some will be excellent and others so so.So a brief menu is the first point in favor of La Piazzetta.Their staff is clearly well trained and must have had the benefit of good formal schooling.Having received training used to be a must in Italy for hotel and restaurant staff. This is often no longer the case which makes a well run establishment stand out all the more.Their wine selection is varied and covers most of what the country has to offer. The wine list shows for each wine which main grapes have been blended. The is not something that you will find so frequently.I am not interested in studying the composition of each wine, per se, but the fact that I am presented with this information means that "plonk" (a poor quality wine) probably won't be on this menu.I settled for a menu selection composed of an appetizer, a first course, second course and desert. The appetizer was a mini taste of boiled polyp, tomato and eggplant. The first course Carnaroli rice that by itself was worth the trip (20 miles from Milan) and the main course again polyp (octopus) that was so tender it could have melted in your mouth. The deserts were all excellent and making a choice was not at all easy. They also offer a well endowed cheese selection which I will try the next time I wist. You may think that as this is a "slow food" type establishment you will risk leaving the table still hungry. Not so.This restaurant is most certainly worth trying.

We dined in this location and the food was delicious. The portions are really small though, you may need those pieces of bread if you are too hungry. The service was welcoming and nice. The pasta was homemade. Overall a good italian restaurant with nice wine and deserts too. The seats could be more comfy and the table bigger.

La Fornace is a member of the Unione Buon Ricardo restaurant association. I have never been disappointed by any of the member restaurants, and La Fornace went beyond my expectations. The ambience is exceedingly pleasant and the staff is exceptionally attentive and accommodating. While the setting is romantic, it also accommodated a family with young children while we were there during dinner. It takes a car or taxi to reach, but is convenient to Malpensa airport, about half way in between the airport and Milano, a 10 minute detour from the Autostrade. It is located in the Hotel Poli, which is also a wonderful quiet hideaway, which I will review separately, but it offers a convenient solution if everyone wants to enjoy the nice and reasonably priced wine list. The chef did an excellent job with everything we ordered and I would rate it on a par with most of the best restaurants I've found.

Off the "beaten track" not a tourist location, I hope the local people don't mind a review that might bring foreign visitors , typical Italian cuisine and wonderful atmosphere, attention to detail is splendid, from the glass of Prosecco on arrival to the appetiser given . Down a track off the main road, through an electronic gate, this is a place frequented by locals , outside and inside dining . The staff are superb the attention to detail good, the overall dining experience is what you would want from Italy. Food is not cheap but not extortionate , we dined with a huge plate to ham and salami antipasta, Sea bass and a Risotto, half a bottle of a very good red wine and one of us had desert . Cost around 85 Euros .I cant say I am a expert judge in matters of taste but I would recommend this place for in my opinion a fine dining experience.I would book as even in midweek it was getting busy , especially if you wish to dine outside, and you need to have the phone number on hand incase the Taxi driver struggles to find it
