We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The staff were very friendly, including the owners of the place. We ordered too much food, but the highlights were the peppered mussels as an appetizer and the grilled (roasted) calamari for the main course. The Couscous was not that great, and we should have skipped that part of the meal as it was just too much food. My wife and I split everything. The atmosphere of the place was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Firstly nice bowl of pasta, however, food completely overshadowed by attempt to rip off customer.Booked via the fork which gave a 30% discount off bill. Initially this was not applied so then comes the embarrassment of disputing the bill. Waiter initially argued that discount could not be applied as one of the group had ordered pizza. This is nowhere on T&D's. Disputed this and discount applied to all other dishes. Bill then amended, however, a cheeky wee extra desert to the value of 8⬠had been applied. Disputed again and bill amended. New bill and this time cover charge had gone from 1.50⬠to 2⬠per person. Wee tricks that many would miss. Spoiled what was a decent meal. Would I return..... that's a NO

Without doubt our favourite restaurant in Castellamare del Golfo so much so we are here on 3 occasions. Location is to die for with sensational views of coast and town. We ranged from meat to pasta dishes and all were exceptional. Starters also varied and delicious. House wine very palatable.Every single member of staff were courteous, attentive and had a nice pleasant manner.Would absolutely recommend

Came here as a family of four in July. Restraint is well positioned above the beach and harbour so we thought this would be ok. In short- service was poor and we and others waited ages for food- food was ok and tasty enough- however we were ripped off when it came to the bill. woman came to the table and I staid I would like to pay by card. She asked me how I wanted to pay and I clearly said Euros. She pressed the buttons and quite deliberately pressed local currency. I asked for her to change it and she refused. Looking at the bill you can see why. The bill basically implies a 3 percent premium on exchange rate, it lists that it's a transaction that can't be changed but worst still the exchange rate given is 1gbp to 1.07 Euro. that's when the exchange rate is 1.15 Euros per pound and I was getting 1.12 elsewhere SO by my maths they have just ripped you off and I am certain it was deliberate. This made the meal more expensive than anticipated. I attach the VISA bill as proofDon't accept behaviour like this from Resteraunts - I believe it's a scamAVOIDBuonasera.Ci dispiace per la lunga attesa, solitamente quando ci sono bambini sollecitiamo la cucina per mandare avanti i piatti dei bambini. A parte gli antipasti e alcuni piatti, tipo il cous cous, che necessitano di una lunga preparazione e quindi vengono cucinati in mattinata, noi facciamo tutto al momento e non abbiamo nulla di precotto. Inoltre, ci dispiace infinitamente per quanto accaduto con il pagamento e anzi La ringraziamo per averci fatto notare questo inconveniente, che approfondiremo con la Banca. La nostra Banca ci ha sempre detto di utilizzare la valuta straniera perché avreste risparmiato sul cambio e commissioni applicate, inglesi, americani, canadesi, etc.. e tanti Clienti ci hanno ringraziato per questo servizio detto Multycurrency, che utilizziamo da diversi anni proprio perché richiesto. Le commissioni che noi paghiamo sul transato Pos per noi non cambiano, sia che utilizziamo la moneta straniera che l'euro, pertanto non avremmo alcun motivo di utilizzare una moneta piuttosto che un'altra. Le assicuriamo che non è stato fatto intenzionalmente e Le chiediamo scusa per il disguido.Distinti saluti.

Beautiful food, fabulous service and central location! Very friendly staff helped make our meals very enjoyable and helped make decisions on what to try. Beautiful anti pasta dishes and pasta main courses for reasonable prices. We are here more than once because it was so good! Would highly recommend!!

They always say avoid the tourist trap and generally we do.Tonight we let our gaurd down.Not cheap but convenient from where we had a pre dinner spritz.Bruscheta ok but then disaster struck. Order of 2 pasta dishes and 2 pizza dishes...... sounds pretty simple. Pasta arrived and by all accounts it was decent..... I should know as I spent 15 - 20 minutes watching wife and son eating as the pizza was a no show. Time trundled on and eventually enough was enough so I thought get a waiter. Well the first one I couldn't catch his eye but maybe a blessing as he then sneezed into his hand. He will go and wash said hands I thought but no.... a quick wipe on the apron and then he served food to another table. 2nd waiter nearby I thought might be better but no he was to busy picking his nose (several times). In the end we got a waiter, cancelled the pizza, and happily left. Still got coperta for 4 but to be honest happy to take the hit so long as we could leave. Nice family meal was the plan but it was not delivered. Service shocking....waiter hygenie even worse.Avoid at all costs

This restaurant came recommended to us by our Hotel reception staff. We were looking for a bowl of Minestrone! The chef said he would be delighted to make us a Minestrone if we came back tomorrow. Which we did since our schedule allowed us to. So we were able to sample the chefâs wonderful cooking on two separate occasions. The restaurant decor is minimimalistic and immediately appealing in its simplicity. A warm welcome and extremely attentive service. They were quite happy for us to divide portions to enable us to sample more of their delicious dishes than would otherwise have been possible. The food is beautifully prepared and served.

If you like restaurant that gives you excellent seafood dishes, reasonably priced wines, superb desserts and is accompanied by excellent, friendly service, then this restaurant is for you.Plus...the great view over the marina from the terrace. Couldnât fault this place, so we went back for a second time!

We visited this restaurant after reading several reviews on TA. We were not disappointed and it exceeded our expectations. The location is not glamorous, since it is on one of the roads in the centre of the village. However the excellent service provided, the ambiance and the quality of the food compensate for it. Prices are very reasonable too.
