We had a perfect evening at La Rocca. First we got a very friendly welcome when we arrived. Then, throughout all of the evening the service was very friendly. And of course most import: All courses we ordered were very yummy. The chef definitely deserves the awards he got already! Besides of all this, the location is beautiful as well. This restaurant definitely is a strong recommendation for everyone loving delicious gourmet food and who is in this area of Tuscany. We are staying in town for several days and decided on pizza and salad for dinner and IâChiampa was perfect. The server was very nice, the salad was fresh and the thin crust pizza was delicious.

Easy to miss this wonderful little restaurant tucked around a corner in the square but it's a must for anyone who loves great food. We were welcomed in and made to feel at home, a genuinely friendly atmosphere. Don't expect airs and graces or your napkin tucked in for you but do expect fantastic food. The cheese starter followed by wild boar stew or salmon followed by steak and mushrooms are to die for, but do make room for the desserts of the house. Altogether a delightful experience and lovely people. Grazie mille!

Old monastery of 1100 now restaurant and B&B is offering a italian contemporary cousine with a wonderful panoramic view in the sunny weather and an intimate and exclusive dining room during the winter season.
If youâre looking for an *authentic* experience, Iâd highly recommend this place. Their Menu ranges between various kinds of food, the ingredients of which are locally sourced (and one can agree that the Tuscan soil truly does wonders to food), and which incorporate various elements of traditional Tuscan, and overall Italian recipes, mixed with the outstanding creativity of the Chef. The wine is fantastic, the location is jaw-dropping (romantic + scenic), and the food is DEFINITELY worth its price and more. The service is kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. Planning to head back there soon - good to note that you can also plan group gatherings, weddings, and parties with them!Dear Alina B,It was so wonderful to have you here! Thanks a lot for all your compliments, we are truly looking forward to seeing you soon! Thanks again even for taking you time writing your feedback on Tripadvisor!!Best Regards,Osteria Del VicarioErik Regini

We ended up eating at Artevino twice during our one week stay in Tuscany. This very small and quiet restaurant offers a varied menu and decent wine list, featuring many of the local wines. This is where you go for a long and leisurely dining experience as there seemed only to be one server but she was attentive and friendly. Each dish served was beautifully plated which made this a feast for the eyes. Definitely a delicious treat!

Our intimate gourmet AL 43 under the direction of chef Maurizio Bardotti offers an unforgettable fine dining experience. The cuisine, both modern but in harmony with the age-old Tuscan traditions, incorporates the finest of seasonal ingredients. Whether s
We had the entire restaurant for ourselves - what a treat. Hotel has closed for the winter and it was a Wednesday which explains our fortune. Let me start with best part; the team of servers, sommelier and cooks. They were fantastic, friendly, warm, professional, educational and detail oriented. They were there as needed but not noticed at the same time. The tasting menu with wine pairing was a magnificent treat. Allowing yourself to be guided by true artist down a flavor experience can be risky but when done superbly as it was last night, it makes for an extraordinary memory. Extra special when shared with your lovely spouse. On our next trip to San Gimignano we will stay at the hotel to receive the total immersion. Thank you CubansamHouston_TX for writing such a marvellously glowing review of AL 43. We were pleased to have served you and equally happy to have you enjoy your meal. We will look forward to your return and possible stay in our Locanda dell' Artista. Warmest wishes,Baker Bloodworth

Luckily I had read the reviews about this place being next to the gas station, and spotted it while leaving Gambassi terme. Had a great fried fish platter and some good wine. Too windy to sit out, but good view from terrace.

Despite being here for a meal when 20+ ten year olds were celebrating a birthday, we had a comfortable, delicious, leisurely dinner, with great attention from the waitstaff. The food was delicious. We had several courses we were unable to finish, and missed out on dessert for that reason. This place is out in the country, at the southern extent of Castelfiirentino, but is well worth a visit.

We visited this beautiful restaurant this week during our stay and had the best food of our whole trip in Italy. We both opted for the steak with green peppercorn sauce and after the first mouthful we were in heaven! It was beautiful. We had a great table in the outdoor seating area, which has spectacular views over the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. The service we received was impeccable ... extremely friendly and welcoming. Next time we're in Tuscany, this place will definitely be on the agenda. Well done to everyone at Il Gusto & Il Tatto. Thank-you for the wonderful experience. I love it when restaurants get in right in every way.
Where to eat Tuscan food in Castelfiorentino: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We visited this restaurant for lunch on our last day in Castelfiorentino. The chef explained the menu in detail and upon seeing that we wanted to have fish and seafood, he offered to put together antipasti and primi, some of which were not even on the menu. The food was excellent and the portions were ample. There were 3 types of dessert on the menu and we ordered the pannacotta and chocolate millefoglie to share between the four of us, having previously gone through three courses. We were wowed as the chef served the chocolate fondante soon after, despite us not having ordered it. This was simply divine and what's more, it was not added to the bill!Definitely one of the best meals we had whilst on holiday in Tuscany.
