Family food, home made from fresh products. Every Thursday you can enjoy our couscous : it is the only meal proposed on a fixed day and it is highly recommended to order the day before. Children menu: 1/2 portion of an adult dish of the day or chopped ste
Tucked away in a quiet street in Carcassonneâs bastide is this unassuming gem. Named after one of my favourite singers [but without any of his music] this is a delightful, home-cooked, classic French restaurant. Set menu with some of the tastiest food imaginable. Starters followed by main courses - chicken or asian beef our night - and exceptional dessert. Charming front of house service that simply exuded a welcome - including our son and dog - and the presene of the chef herself. Wonderful, memorable food in a night to remember. Thank you!

We visited for an anniversary dinner because the restaurant is close to us and we had never been. Tucked away this restaurant has a quirky style with lots of interesting items on display. The service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were served very quickly. The food was beautiful both in taste and in presentation. All ingredients are locally sourced which is something else to celebrate. It is quite expensive but you really do get what you pay for and it is certainly worth saving up for special occasions. Highly recommend and we will return soon.

A smallish restaurant, that you may not even think of going in, Do Not Be Fooled.... The chef works so hard, he makes you sweat just watching him. The food is very good, and if they are busy, it takes a little longer, but well worth the wait.

We were so fortunate to get a table and a very warm welcome on a Saturday evening. We were spoilt for choice with the excellent choices of Tartines with a soup or salad. The owner was really helpful, fun and quite a character.I had the Vegetarian Tartine and the flavours and combinations were incredible. We had a recently made Tarte Tartin, excellent wine and a homemade liquor. It made a pleasant change from Cassoluet.

I was fortunate to be able to get a table in this fully booked restaurant when a party who came in was reduced from five to four. Excellent galettes and friendly service as well as a wide variety of types of fillings made for a very enjoyable meal.

Ouvert Du Mercredi Au Dimanche (le Soir Uniquement) .
My pizza expert of a wife, who is eating for two, went to this restaurant last night for dinner after reading the reviews here on trip advisor. Firstly the restaurant is much nicer than would first appear, with a lovely outdoor space round back! The staff are very friendly and helpful as our French is probably at a beginner level. The pizzas themselves were fantastic and unique! Although I felt mine was a bit confused with too many ingredients! Never the less it was delicious. My wife had a margarita which she couldnât finish and has the rest for lunch today (yes I am jealous). We also shared a side salad which was delicious! However, the dessert stole the show! We managed to find some space for the panna cotta, with a mango sauce and crunchy chocolate it was fantastic! We would certainly go back and recommend, I would say it narrowly misses out on a fifth star, as I do think there are slightly better pizzas out there still! But this is coming from a couple who spent two weeks travelling around Italy eating pizza! Please go visit I promise you wonât be disappointed!

This restaurant had great reviews but when we visited we were disappointed. Our starters were nice and the service was great but our main courses were not good. The sweet potato mash with the lamb was watery and unseasoned. The chicken prawn and black rice dish did not taste good! The food looks much better than it tastes, would not recommend! Me voilà surpris de votre commentaire. Les avis précédent sont assez unanime sur la cuisine..... Je suis désolé de ne pas être au niveau que vous pensiez.

Fantastic dinner which we all enjoyed. Stand out dish for me was my tuna starter. Best thing for us was that our 11 year old son coukd have the same courses as us, but smaller size and half price. He loved it.Great ambience. Need to book.We got a taxi back to carcassonne near Old Bridge. Cost 10 euros but we had a long wait for taxi.Definitely recommended.
