After some time, we returned to this excellent Trattoria in the town of El Hatillo near Caracas. They open from Wednesday to Saturday night. It usually gets crowded and waiting lines at lunch are long. For dinner, they accept reservations. The food is top notch, the antipastos and pasta are excellent. We were six and we ordered to start the mixed antipasto and the green salad with Parmesan cheese and mushrooms. Everything was really good. Then we had mixed raviolis with pumpkin in a butter and sage sauce, spinach and mushrooms with a creamy sauce or pork with Neapolitan sauce. The sweet potato gnocchi are excellent too. One of us ordered scaloppini pizzaiola with a side of spaghetti in tomato sauce. For dessert, we had strawberry meringue cake and prunes meringue cake. Both delicious. To drink we had mixed fruit smoothies and mineral water.I ended with macchiato coffee.Service is good and the restaurant is nicely appointed.

Very cost effective place and most important: Delicius. The antipasto is great. Try the "ceviche" and ask the waiter for the special pasta of the day. You'll go right.

If you want real and classic French cuisine (not fusion), this is the place. The menu is the same you will encounter in any restaurant in the middle of France. Decor is not pretentious, just enough to make you comfortable. Service is friendly and food is delicious. You can't go wrong with this place.

Perfectly located and wonderfully services. This place is the best fish by far in caracas. They have dishes like the grouper on salt. ( Mero a la sal). Which is served alongside with three sauces to delight your senses. Mustard, pepper and champagne sauces are simply astonishing. You cannot believe the pimientos de Padron. The rice with seafood combinations. The Risotto. Everything tastes so esplendid. This place is so high standard that clubs like Altamira and the country club.m have hired them to handle the food service for all the club members.

Definetely one of the best family oriented restaurants in Caracas. Forget about those booze and drunk filled restaurants all around Las Mercedes area. Food is not bad but don't expect a 2-Star Michellin guide worth venue either. It is what is a lovely place to spend some time with familywhile eeating decent italian food. Price tag is well above average but it is far from being a luxury restaurant.

In general I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. International food not only Italian, makes it easy for pretty much any palate. Good wine list and the possibility of outside sitting without getting sun baked.

This place is an icon in Caracas... It's been around for ages!!! Great service, great setting "English style" very elegant... Need a jacket and a tie is advisable!!! They used to have the best food with great ingredients... Now with all the shortage in stocks, they are doing magic... Lots of plates are not in the menu now...Still a restaurant where you will find "game" vennison, wild boar, frog legs etc... This place is very chic and always been taken care of by Tito, the maitre D and owner. Food was quite good and some glitches that I hope can be corrected in the near future... NOT their fault.Aahh, dont forget to order the grand marnier AND chocolate souffle at the beginning... You will not be disappointed!!Enjoy

Comida Española, Vasca
Exquisite the menu of tasting, but also give the option of choosing à la carte. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view and the scenery are spectacular; You can see the mountain and the sea on a sunny day. A special place to share as a couple or with friends.
