In a relatively touristic area we came across Le Comptoir parisien and did not regret it. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, nice terrace and affordable prices. Highly recommended. The octopus salad starter is to die for. Will be back.

Take the boat from Belém to Trafaria and have a meal at Casa Ideal. You will love to cross the river but on top, you can have a very tasty meal. Try the fish... we got "Polvo à Lagareiro" (grilled octopus with potatoes covered with Olive oil) and it was very very good and grilled Cuttlefish, very Soft and grilled properly. Great cold beer, tasty and homemade deserts. Honest people and mainly, honest food. Kind Service. Fair price for the quality we got. 38⬠2 pax. Recommended!!!

Right next to jeronimos monastery but not touristy. Guidebooks recommendation butwe saw lots of locals too. Owner was super charismatic and selected our meals for us, fresh fish and an authentic stew. Simple food done well, donât expect fussy service, they turn you over quick but for us the experience was a hit

Mestrias is a brilliant find, one of the best restaurants I have visited so far in Lisbon. Food is simply delicious and prices are just excellent! It was 5 of us, four adults and one child- we had polvo, gambas panadas, pimentos padron, ovos com farinheira, bacalhau a bras, leitao, two rounds of beer for 4 people, usual rounds of bread as expected from an authentic Portuguese restaurant, two desserts... all of this for 80/90 EUROS. We will be returning for sure!

Fantastic treasure - a small unassuming restaurant with beautifully cooked and presented food served by a truly professional waiter. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Portuguese experience.

Well worth the drive, the ferry ride across the Tagus, the tiny walk along the very narrow cobbled streets of Trafaria. Belem is a Jewel and compared,Trafaria the Tramp, yes I am referring to the Lady and the Tramp however. Taberna Zé da LÃdia is a really cool, traditional, old fashioned Portuguese eatery. I donât follow this diet anymore but I could tell by the pure pleasure of the locals, there was nothing else to live for. Bread, Starters, Platter or mixed fish (grilled or fried) Wine by the Jug and the list goes on. Personally, I would dump the car and take a romantic ferry boat ride across the river. Service friendly, homely, attention to detail.

Mediterranean food with a very special twist!
Horrible restaurant. We went there because of the tripadvisor reviews... probably all fake. Beware! First, the food. My wife had cod and it was so salty! I like salty food... but when your thongue hurts... I ordered a steak (medium rare) and it was well done to say the least. Extremely salty also but the fries were not cooked enough and... no salt on the fries! Also, worst service ever. We were kind and polite. And they were avoiding us (restaurant half full). We ordered wine, it came from the kitchen, impossible to know what it was. Came in an anonymous bootle (?!) and I had to pour it into my glass myself. In the end, they ask if we want to pay cash or by credit card. I say cash. They bring me an handwritten check (see picture). Avoid at all costs. We appreciate your feedback, and are very sorry for not meeting your expectations. We take the opportunity to emphasize that all TripAdvisor reviews are reliable! Result of a hard work of our team, whose main objective is the excellence in our dishes and service. We need to clarify some points of your assessment ...Excess and / or lack of salt: We do not realize what happened because - this is the first time we have encountered this situation (salt is very subjective), and it could be dealt with quickly by one of our attendants.Service: We treat all our customers with the utmost attention and dedication, without exception, as our main objective is the quality, efficiency and satisfaction of our customers in service;Wine: House wine is served in the house bottle. We take the opportunity to invite you to taste some of the labels of our wine cellar ... Taberna dos Ferreiros.

Highly recommend! Located in a local area, might be a little bit of a walk but absolutely worth it! Very cute inside and has a good size patio. The owners are very friendly, and our service was great! We loved everything we ordered - but 2 items really stood out to me - the gazpacho soup, packed with flavor and super refreshing, and the tuna steak - absolutely phenomenal! Very fresh tuna, simply cooked and so delicious! Melts in your mouth! I'm usually very picky about my tuna, and I was very impressed with this one - highly recommend! It also comes with 2 pieces, so would be good to share. Portions are a good size, so 2 soups, 1 board or a cold plate, and 1 hot plate is plenty of food for 2 people.

This is a very small restaurant run by a lovely kind couple that clearly loves what they do. The lady was the wine connoisseur. We decided to accompany our lunch with wine by the glass. She will make recommendations and let you taste before choosing. We had Douro Colinas do Douro, with our sardines, which were wonderful, Mare & Corvus with sausages and linguica, which were served with mango; the dish was very good, and others with our main dishes. Out of the way but worth a visit.

My family and I were absolutely blown away by this meal. We all selected the â4â course vegetarian tasting menu at 85 Euros a person which may sound pricey but well worth the cuisine and really amounted to 8 courses. The dishes were creative and representative of Portuguese tastes. The photos best describe the dishes (see below).Dear Mr. DadofAMT,Thank you for taking your valuable time and sharing your lovely feedback. It gives me immense pleasure to read through your comments and to know that you had such a pleasant dinner at Feitoria Restaurant.André FiguinhaFeitoria Guest Service
