Have been twice in the last month and both times have received excellent food and service. The saganaki was heavenly, the dips with bread are very filling. Calamari and the lamb and chicken skewers were cooked to perfection.Staff were friendly and helpful. Answered all questions, provided suggestions, checked our table regularly to see if everything was alright. We were not in a rush but did not find wait times to be an issue.

Myself and two girlfriends had Sunday lunch here and partook in the $70 Chefâs Menu, where you get a wonderful taste of eight courses. These were shared amongst the three of us and the dishes were robust in flavour, complexity and also, size. We left feeling contently full. The wine menu was extensive with an aperitif offered on arrival. We were seated at the large communal table with two other parties but at no time were we cramped or did it feel too loud. Between the two chefs and the one front of house we were spoilt with a wonderful and timely degustation over two hours. I would highly recommend Templo. Please be mindful though, the restaurant only sits 20 patrons and is incredibly popular, so if you are planning a trip to Hobart and would like to have lunch or dinner here, you should definitely consider booking in advance so as to no miss out. Also, there are single menu items, you do not have to do the Chefâs Menu! A wonderful culinary experience.

Had a Friday lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary, waiters very welcoming, friendly and professional.Decor is modern, relaxing muted tones that do not conflict with the stunning views.Meals where excellent well presented and cooked to a high standard and delicious.Nice touches with a small pre entree treat also chocolate treat after desert. At $69 dollars plus drinks a head for a 3 course meal was great value.

This restaurant has to be visited. The food is absolutely delicious. The wine selection is very very good. The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere inside is great. This is a Tapas style restaurant so enjoy choosing a variety of different dishes. We tried the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Oysters and Watermelon Lime Granita, Drunken Goats Cheese, Beetroot Tartare. For mains we had the Duck and Lamb Desert was Strawberry Mousse and Coffee crema Catalana. Everything was delicious. Do yourself a favour and visit here, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

FICO had been talked up in reviews and I think they are resting on these rather than producing the goods. Shared &/or large tables may be trendy but not for all. Set menu was a good idea but short on variety, flavours and bulk. Service was reasonable but a bit detached. Over-rated

Bakers Of bread, Viennoiserie, cakes, patisserie & provisions. Full breakfasts, morning and afternoon tea, & lunch are offered in a bustling environment with professional service. Takeaways available, and child friendly.
If i didn't know any better I was back in Paris walking the streets and enjoying the exquisite baking that only they can do. The display of cakes and pastries is amazing and the cafe was buzzing. Great service, good coffee but the croissants were terrific and so was the Danish. I'm going back for macarons and maybe some croissants to take home. I wish there was this type of cafe in the north west of Tasmania I'd be a very happy person.

What a joke of a place. Re: the winery. Visited today. Walked in, to where the sign says âcellar doorâ, nobody there, when we found some staff they were having a right laugh about something. When the girl came over, she didnât introduce herself or even smile, she said â$10.00 for four winesâ. To which I replied, already with a bad taste in my mouth, $10.00, bit much!.. âWell, you cant expect us to open a bottle of wine and not charge you anything!â. And I didnât say, but what I felt like saying, is excuse me dear, I can expect whatever I wish and the majority of Tasmanian wineries, if they charge at all, charge around $5.00 per head. We left.We have visited the majority of wine regions on the mainland and now after today all of the regions in Tas, and this place has by far got to be the worst. Not only is it overpriced, it is clearly trying to be something itâs not, clearing trying its hand in every idea it can come across and seeing reviews from various different sources. Not doing very well in any. Youâd think for how expensive everything is they could teach the staff some manners and sort out the ruddy road in and out. Waste your time and spend your money elsewhere.
