Original Tuscan foods. The workers and business people in town eat here. Lunch for 15 euros very good. Take there table wine. A Sangiovese from Toscana, simple but delicious. No tourists. Bistecca is terrific. Good service, very friendly. They are still thankful when you give them a good tip.

The restaurant is very old looking when you walk in, but not in a bad way. The food is outstanding and the staff is very helpful, plus you can see the lake while you eat and drink, which is a plus. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, on the device of the owner of the B&B we were staying at. The restaurant has a modern frontage, with a lovely courtyard behind. the menu was interesting, we chose the quail, tuna and a vegetarian pasta dish. We had a Cabernet Sauvignon to accompany them. All were delicious and we squeezed in the house (non alcoholic) tiramisu, which was very light and excellent. The staff were attentive and several spoke good English so we had no problem ordering a taxi at the end of the evening. Prices are mid range. A great venue for a special occasion, or just a nice evening meal.

This tiny little restaurant is off the beaten path on the eastern shore of Lake Como in Lecco. If you are willing to put in your map time, you will not be disappointed. There were only eight tables set up the night we visited. The menu is all about fish. I am typically a meat person, but still enjoyed the fish preparations. The other members of my family who usually choose fish, thought the meal was outstanding. My oldest son started with the fish sampler and said it was the best fish he had ever eaten (he has eaten a lot). The recommended wine was very good, yet inexpensive. Multiple hand prepared deserts were brought out on a cart and served from there. We couldn't pass up. The chef came out and visited with us for 10-15 minutes after our meal. The restaurant is a family affair started by his mom and dad in 1984 and still located in his parents home, although he now lives upstairs, cooks, and runs the restaurant. Reservations are a must. If you find yourself on the eastern side of the lake, give this gem your patronage.

Se la prima volta vi fermate per caso in questo locale con B&B lungo la statale, poi certamente ci ritornate! La ricercata selezione di vini è accompagnata da piatti in cui la genuinità degli ingredienti è sapientemente combinata per sbalordire. La location è strategica: tra le città e il lago o la montagna, perfetta per un veloce pranzo, una merenda tra amici, alla cena a due.

My wife and I were in Lecco to see Lago Como. We stopped at Istanbul Bosforo for a quick meal as it was a short walk from our hotel. We split a pizza, a salad and aSpinach Borek washed down with a beer for me and a lemon soda for my wife. Food was excellent. Bill was only $14 Euros. Proprietor was friendly. My type of place :-)

We enjoyed the perfect dinner with very prepared personnel and a great atmosphere. We tasted the buffet first (veggies and fresh green), then we had local dishes: foiade (typical fresh pasta) and pappardelle with mushrooms, meat with polenta and local dessert (a cake with figues, choco chips and corn). We finished with Lemon-grapefruit-mango sorbet. Prices are good and wines are excellent with a very good choice.We really experienced love for the territory and love for guests. Every detail is studied and well set, mixing old and new, tradition and innovation.
