Small restaurant hidden in a small street. But, one of the best dinner we had during our stay in Sardinia. Food was perfect. Very Good ingredients and great cooking. A place locals also like, not a standard restaurant for tourists. To the chef and the staff: Great job. Stay as you are. Thank you

Il nostro è un piccolo ristorante famigliare nel centro di cagliari. La pasta è di nostra produzione!!
Limited choice on the menu, mainly Sardinian specialties. I had dinner twice on the terrace, once with a group of colleagues, once alone. The food was good, but I had expected better based on the reputation and recommendation received. Do not take the red housewine. There must be better choice in bottles. I found this very good price quality compared to other options in the city centre.

We have chosen this restaurant because of the almost perfect ratings at TA.When entering the ambiance is looking nice. There are only 10 tables available.Soon the female boss (?) or older server appeared to ask for our wishes. Then we asked her for a menu. The answer was surprising: We do not have it!Is this allowed in Italy??Then we needed to listen for her offers..Of course - without asking - you will not get informed about the price. Then we asked for a wine list and list of drinks. And what a surprise - the answer was (??) : we do not have it!So we ordered for starters: Crudo di mare ( 25,00 â¬).It was containing of 3 oysters, 3 gamberi, (prawns) and some Tuna Tartar. The Tuna Tartar was marinated. So it was difficult to judge if it was fresh. In general all over all it was poor and a very bad value for money. The wine, Vernaccia, was good and charged with 18,00 â¬.Then the main was served:Fish mixed grill plate: A little seabass, 3 prawns and one calamares.Prawns and calamares were over grilled (burned). It was charged with 22,00 â¬.Also this was a bad value for money!Coperto was not charged! Then the female boss appeared to offer coffee what we have denied.2 minutes later the younger female server offered the same...Of course we got not offered a digestivo! My subjective rating:Ambiance: 3 pointsService: 1 pointQuality and preparation of meals:2 pointsValue for money: 2 points

We made sure to call here after it being recommended to us and we were not disappointed. We had the meat course one night and the fish courses on our last night before ending our holiday, and it was the perfect end indeed. Great food, great service and really enjoyed hearing about the history of the Jacaranda, ask them whilst enjoying your meal! :) Grazie mille Jacaranda!

My husband and I ate here on a recent trip to Sardinia and had a great evening. I loved the building, which seems to be an old cellar of some sort. The food was great - I had quite a bit of seafood, which was lovely. The bread they brought was also oddly delicious. We quite wanted to try a pasta dish but didn't think we could fit in one each, so we ordered one and they brought it plated up on two separate plates for us which was a nice touch. The staff spoke good English and were really friendly. We arrived at 8:30pm and it was pretty empty, but then filled up. For atmosphere, it's better to eat quite late, I would say. We reserved by email in English and got a prompt response.

We had a hankering for steaks with fries etc . A bit tired of pasta etc. My partner had the fillet steak accompanied with a wonderful peppercorn sauce and I went for the 350 g Angus Americano. Saw some good looking burgers go past to other tables. An interesting wine list with some well priced Dorgali reds .Great steaks and service and reasonably priced.Note they have horse on the menu.

Our family of 4 recently had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The dinner starts with 10 appetizers, which are a mix of comfortable favors (marinated salmon, prosciutto with nectarine, etc) and other interesting treats that are seafood-, vegetable, or meat-based. The chef did a wonderful job substituting for our various allergies so that the one who cannot eat shrimp (moi) got something equally appealing and interesting as the usual offerings. After the appetizers, we have 2 pasta dishes....The ravioli stuffed with grouper in an octopus/tomato sauce is so delicious, we would have licked the plate clean if it was socially acceptable. The meat-based pasta is also perfectly yummy, if not a stand-out. The second dish is again amazing: beautifully grilled and tender squid and a piece of roasted suckling pig with cracking that melt in our mouth. It was juicy but not greasy. The desserts were 4 adorable treats, some chocolate-y, some creamy, and a pleasure to share. The servers were friendly, knowledgeable and took great care of us. We come to Cagliari every summer and our children want to make a dinner here a must-do events and a new family tradition.
