Visited after a recommendation from our hotel. It took a little time to find and we eventually approached it from narrow winding alleyway up the steep hill.We were placed in a window location overlooking the bay which was pleasant although we found out later that there was more air on a rather stuffy evening at the street side tables. In my experience I didnât find the food in any way exceptional. There was certainly nothing wrong with it, but nothing to make it excel. We shared the traditional cheese filled dumplings with pesto to start which again were fine. I followed with the veal in a cream sauce. The âmediumâ cooked steak was rather bloody but didnât bother me. It was of decent quality but the sauce was rather bland (cost about 18 euros). Vegetables of the day were extra and comprised sliced boiled potatoes and carrots which was a touch disappointing. My wife enjoyed her trio of fish but would have preferred a sauce with it.For a non fish eater I found the menu limited, but as might expect on a Mediterranean restaurant the fish menu was more extensive. Our total cost for one starter, two mains and two half litres of house wine was 68 euros which wasnât excessive but as stated above simply unremarkable. Maybe we picked a slightly off night or perhaps it didnât suit me. Staff were pleasant and efficient however.

This establishment has a beautiful view but we could not think of anything more positive to say. On our last day on the island we decided on a nice and relaxing lunch before our evening flight, oh dear, what a let down this was. The waiter was a very unhappy chap. He didnt want us to be there and very begrudgingly served us. We were half expecting him to delivery us a 'black spot' It was lunch time and the place was almost empty, there was another table of six, we were eight, so not exactly busy. The waiter was certainly not happy to see us and reluctantly showed us to a table. Eventually he took our orders, he was very miserable. After quite some time our drinks arrived, they were the only drinks we were offered as he didnt come back to permit us to order again. More delay still our food came, is was dire. Two of our party had pasta, it was cold and bland. Two had pizza, one was like something from a cheap frozen food shop and the other was like a hard frisbee. Two had mussels, these were OK but small portions and expensive. My tuna was passable but lukewarm and finally my husband had a fish platter that he enjoyed, though it was the most expensive dish on the menu. It was impossible to attract the waiters attention to order more drinks and as each of us finished our plates were whisked away whilst the rest of the party were still eating. One bowl of mussels was removed while my friend way still attempting to put the last one into his mouth!

In my childhood, me and my parents went there like every single day of our holidays in Budoni. The pizza, the seafood, all fresh and really good. After a big fire which burnt down the whole restaurant except the pizza oven, it is now rebuilt and looks quite different to the bar I know. More elegant and a bit fancy. But you've still got the beach and the sea in front of you while enjoying your food - so definitely worth a try!

This restaurant looks out over the marina,so the setting is fantastic. On arrival we were greeted really warmly and throughout our meal we were really looked after - the service was very good! For dinner we shared the selection of seafood appetisers - which was plenty for two and a really fantastic selection of cold and hot seafood. For main we both enjoyed the fillet steak - plain but great quality & perfectly cooked. We asked for a glass of the white and red- both were really good wines! Our bill was 50 Euros each - which we thought was good value.Highly recommend a visit

The 20 minute from Budoni town is well worth it to enjoy the stunning location of this beachside restaurant. There is a great choice of starters / pasta / pizza mains .We really enjoyed the scallops gratin followed by the fillet steak in peppercorn sauce. We also enjoyed half a litre of the House white which was enjoyable too.I would recommend a visit!!!

Had a wonderful early dinner here. Hadn't booked and was lucky to get a table as most of the tables had reserved signs on them, so essential to book.Hubby had oysters and an assortment of other shellfish, kids had pizza and ravioli. But star of the show was my veggie pasta dish. Don't recall the name of the dish but it was the traditional large pasta pillows which were filled with cheese but on this occasion were served with a rich Gorgonzola sauce, heaven! By far my fave dish all holiday. The kids had the tiramisu for desserts.Service was impeccable. Our waiter who I presume was the head waiter had fantastic English having lived in the U.K. for 4 years.

Night out from resort to visit the town - unfortunately market now finished but we had a terrific meal at Mama's on their terrace - the canopy decorated by bunches of dried pasta!! Service a bit lackaday - given a nice table (having reserved from hitel reception) but we had to ask for a menu after 5 minutes staring into space . Then we also had to ask for a wine list. We ordered food wine a& water and were served a basket of bread (though 2.50 euros per cover left my eyes watering slightly) then left to it for 10 minutes. Then the "mussel and clam sop" arrived which was a marvellous moules mariniere Italian tomato sauce style and not really soup at all..delicious though - and the waiter brought a paper apron to protect my shirt - very useful. Mozzarella and tomato salad also good.Pizzas next - huge and authentic with grea base and toppings - we couldn't finish them. The chilli oil was requested came tiely but was not very lively - a pity as we would expect a good bite to chilli oil in Italy. Our recommended wine was fabulous Sardinian Red - Eminas which is a Sardinian Grenache - deep, dry and full of flavour.
