This is a regular stop for me and a top choice for a business luncheon. Quaint and cozy, the service is very attentive and friendly yet professional. The chef offers daily suggestions based on what fresh ingredients he can find. This time I had the magret aux bleuets et à la tomate fumée. It was exceptional. Cooked to perfection and a sauce that had been fussed over. My guest had similar compliments about his choice. A good wine list with all the right choices. Reservations are essential. Looking forward to my next visit.

The place was really buzzing on a midweek evening. There were several large groups. Service & food were excellent. Because of the noise & closeness of the tables not a venue for a quiet intimate meal, but if you want to eat in a lively atmosphere this is the place

Went with a few friends and my wife. Our server was super friendly but the ensuing service was less than satisfactory (it was a busy night). After ordering we waited almost an hour until our meals arrived. We had to ask for bread and water. My wife ordered the bison burger and asked what it came with - she was told fries and so she ordered a salad; what she got was a salad followed afterwards by the bison burger with fries and the same salad (why would the server let her order the second salad?). The 1/2 kg of mussels with Dijonnaise sauce was plentiful and the mussels tasty but the sauce was too heavily flavoured with Dijon mustard, a lighter touch would have been better. The fries that came with our meals were really not acceptable, dry and tasteless. Not much compelling here for a return visit.Good day sir,First of all we are sorry about the wait and some of the food that was not on your standard that evening. Despite the fact it was a busy night in the kitchen, all our food is fresh especially our fries which we have been serving for 25 years. We take in note with our chef about a lighter touch for the Dijonnaise sauce. We would like you to come for an other experience at the Bistro. Please call us and ask for François.François DoyonOwner

A lovely variety of modern Montreal cuisine. Very friendly staff who are bilingual, helpful and courteous. Food arrived at a proper pace and the kitchen appears to be incredibly clean. Took my cheese-platter dessert back to my hotel (next door) and really enjoyed the quality and variety of the selected cheeses. Treat yourself and eat here.

Four star French classic restaurant located in Old Montreal.
Wonderful experience, start to finish. Our server was attentive and professional. My wife and I had the onion soup which was not the crock of overly salted broth dripping with cheese that you get in the US. This was a wonderful onion soup topped with a large slice of cheesy french bread, served piping hot. My wife had the scallops and I had the grilled sole meuniere. Both dishes were delicious served with root vegetables on heated plates. They were skillfully cooked and artfully presented. Desserts were also delicious. I had the blueberry cheese cake and my wife had the chocolate mousse. Both were prepared with the right balance of flavors with sugar not overpowering the desserts. Overall, a terrific experience.

The desert was unique and perfect. We loved this place. Pretty room, wonderful waiter and the food was incredible. I had the to-die-for piglet risotto with foie gras and the rack of lamb entrée - seriously the best food ever. My fr loved his food as well. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Polish cuisine done to perfection in a great atmosphere. Chip away at basic Polish dishes or dare to try more interesting options.
Our first dinner in Montreal was at Stash Café, a Polish restaurant! I found Stash Café on TripAdvisor before our trip and we just had to try it. We stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte and the concierge got us reservations at 8 PM. Stash is only half a block from the hotel. We ordered a starter of four Pierogis; my wife had the Sznycel Mielony; I had the Krokiety; and we had a 500ml carafe if wine. Everything was outstanding, and what a great value! The total dinner, including wine, was only $71 CAD before the tip! (Thatâs only $54 US.) Stash Café is a great restaurant and a Must Try!P.S. The atmosphere is very quaint, with church pews at most of the tables. Service was terrific. When we arrived, the waitress asked us if we wanted to speak âEnglish, French or POLISHâ!

Unique type of portugese restaurant with all homemade products ,fun atmosphere that will make you feel at home
We've taken out from this small, almost family establishment a number of times and the verdict on the food has always been excellent. This time we were a large family contingent and it seemed to overwhelm them. While the fish was delicious and fresh and the chicken was sublime, the service was sub-par. One fish dish was forgotten until we reminded them. Worse, the steak was overcooked and while they graciously replaced it, the second coming took over 30 mins to come with barely an apology.
