We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here at every night. Food is good quality, very tasty and lots of it, we rarely had room for pudding!

We ordered a place in the restaurant after staying in a hotel nearby. We read good recommendations on the tripadvisor and this is the reason we choose it.The interior design is simple and can be better and the place don't have view to brienz lake. But the food was amazing. we ordered 4 different dish and all of them were delicious, well crafted and made. real gourmet food. The only thing missing was better wine to consume via glasses (0.1L).The prices are the same as regular swiss dinner (30-40 CHF for main course)

Can you imagine anything more enjoyable after an exciting steam train ride than being treated to culinary delights? Only a few steps away from the mountain station, we will be happy to serve you at our lovely Alpine lodge and restaurant at 2266 metres abo
We chose to sit out in the terrace with magnificent views of the mountains. The restaurant serves quick meals for tourists on the run. A kaffee creme is what we ordered first to.take away the chill, followed by hot potato fries sprinkled with salt and pepper. It's self service and staff are very efficient and tourist friendly.

The very first thing to register about restaurant Axalp Stubli is the very warm welcome from Marcus, Therese and their team. This is a very cosy and rustic mountain restaurant in a prime location on Axalp ( adjacent to the Ski shop and ticket office ). An excellent menu offers a wide choice of well prepared food for all tastes - Soups, Salads, Macaroni, Sausage, Fondue and Pizza'sor meat from the grill. We have sampled the food many times and can fully recommend it for both quality and value. No visit to Axalp would be complete without at least one visit - you will not be disappointed.

We were staying at a B&B in Brienz and were told that this was a reasonably priced place to eat, so we walked to it and ordered at take-away. Bino was friendly and the pizza was cooked there and then in a proper pizza oven; it was thin and crispy and met our dinner needs. I wouldn't say it was the best pizza I ever ate, but it was fine, and cheaper than eating out at any other type of Swiss restaurant. Switzerland seems to be more expensive every time we visit and we normally eat at Migros restaurants, but they are only open at lunchtime. Evening meals are always problematic and pizzas are the best bet, or buy something in a supermarket and cook it yourself if you are in self-catering accommodation. Even the Swiss rarely eat out!

This was the best meal Iâve had in Switzerland. I opted for the potato gnocchi - with lightly sun-dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and just the right amount of greens - in a lite broth. It was perfection! With an outstanding view of the Giessbach Falls, one couldnât ask for more. The strawberry torte was very good, but Swiss desserts (except for chocolate!) are not the best.

We have only visited here for coffees and cakes from the wonderful selection of homemade delicacies. Meals are also available during the day, and the cafe seems very popular with locals, which is always a good sign. With both outside and inside seating, this is an ideal situation on the shore of the lake.

You include the establishment under hotels, but the restaurant is open to the public and should be reviewable independently.
We were amazed with the size of our room--huge, which was well furnished and comfortable. It afforded a view of the Lake of Brienz. We were driven up the hillside from the lakefront railway station in the hotel's small electric vehicle, but without baggage we were able to walk up and down without difficulty. Breakfast buffet was excellent, and the reception staff was friendly and efficient. I would go back to the Lindenhof gladly.

Bramisegg is one of my favourite restaurants. Located just up from Brienz on the Axalp road it provides stunning views on a clear day and a warm sanctuary on those cold and damp days. The welcome is always warm and the service excellent. The menu provides a very good choice of fresh mountain food - even if we always end up having the pork fitness plate which comes with the biggest and most varied salad that you will ever eat. As for the pork - it's the best ever and truly delicious. In any language this truly is a gem and no trip to the Axalp is ever complete without a visit. Don't miss it - you will not be disappointed. As always - Thank you to all at Bramisegg.

Had many meals here over the summer and it was always good. Even when the restaurant was almost full, service was good. Food portions were very large, well presented and also excellent quality. It did not disappoint, and was considerably better than the hotel at Giessbach. A terrace with table service outside, or a traditional Swiss restaurant inside, and with some good local foods too.We did not have one disappointing meal here, it was always good. Highly recommend it if you are in Brienz or nearby. Not the cheapest restaurant, but possibly the best food in the area.
