I eat at Oscars on two evenings. The menu was varied and the food was excellent, though on the second evening, a Friday, I was presented with a special menu; much limited and more expensive. I had to ask for the standard menu. The surroundings are cool, all shiny and slick, and the staff were formal but very attentive. On the first evening the restaurant was very quiet, almost too quiet, but on the Friday a disc jockey was in situ and played a nice variety of music, at a volume not to distract from your meal. The only slight quibble that I would have is there is a poor selection of beer, and certainly having traveled half way across the globe the last thing I wanted was the option of drinking a Heineken! I would recommend the restaurant highly.

A tiny cozy restaurant run by the same owner for over 25 years (he inherited it..and the recipes... from its previous French owner). I always go for the steak béarnaise which is out of this world. Limited wine list. Quite expensive the last time I was there, but well worth a visit for a relaxed candle-lit meal (dinner) with that someone special.

The restaurant at the lake (near to Pier 21) has a very nice view as it is positioned in the very board and even over the lake. The food is very good, although not that cheap. Service is impecable, so worth a visit.

Excellent service. The food is amazing. The best description I've heard is "it awakens you wish for your plate to regenerate itself". They have creative takes on savory and sweet plates, with special mention of the steak with "rapadura" risotto (a sugar cane candy). The dessert you must try is the banana churros, which is a panko bread crusted banana with a filling of milk caramel or a "brigadeiro de leite ninho" (a condensed milk caramel with powdered milk). It does get busy, so either reservation or getting there early is the way to go.

This is an old favorite very close to the center of the city so good for locals and visitors both. Visiting this restaurant from time to time over the last decade, it is fair to say that most of what is on the menu has been sampled and always leave me, "satisfeito, obrigado". It is traditional fine dining and meant for people with the time to appreciate it in the company of those you have invited. Bring your appetite. Discuss the extensive wine list, you will need a DD or taxi cab.You will want to start with an appetizer or salad, fish from cod to amazonian fish you may never have heard of to all meats and typical desserts. The service is excellent and the attention to detail remarkable. Bring a full wallet, it is expensive, but worth it for that special occasion.

A great surprise. Nice dishes, food came right away... no longer than 20 minutes. Very good combination of ingredients. Very honest price. One of the best options in BrasÃlia today. But, since nothing is perfect, the reservation can be improved a lot. At the telephone they were not friendly at all. We had a disabled senior citizen in our group and they simply refused to make a reservation without a reasonable explanation.

the restaurant is located in a special and quiet neighborhood in the city, the atmosphere is romantic. The menu is small with some different option (rabit, shirimp, fish, pork meat), specially chasse meat. I've tasted a risoto that was wonderful. There are several deserts very tasty too.

This new restaurant in BrasÃlia has experienced owners, with other restaurants in town. The salted cod served in one large piece was very good, however the dish for 2 in "lascas" - Gomes de Sá - was very, very dry. They also serve a traditional Brazilian dish, called Picadinho, and that's very good. Their "couvert" is R$ 18,00 per person, make sure you say "no" if you don't want the extra-charge. Pleasant, modern decoration.
