Great hotel, warm welcome. Very traditional hotel with unusual decor. All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was large, warm and traditional. Restaurant was very busy and the food was great. We had some very good local wine, recommended by the staff. Overall a lovely place to stay. Eating here is a must. Very very good

It's mainly a local restaurant (locals playing cards at one table) with a great atmosphere but we were looking for two rooms and Egbert only had one free. He called several other places without success. As we were about to leave he was still wondering how to help and made yet another call. Success, and he sent us to a great place which could not have been bettered. We went back to him later for drinks to enjoy the ambiance and say thanks again. We'll stay at his place next time if we can.

I had already been to the restaurant before and wanted to come back with a group of French friends. The food was just as good as I remembered, we had a variety of local, seasonal dishes, from peppersteak to mushrooms and maultaschen ( a sort of giant ravioli). Everybody were happy, even if it was a bit of a long wait for the food...Nice salad bar for selfservice, and our waitress was extremely friendly and patient with all the translation between French and German. The restaurant is just next to the cahedral, the Donauquelle (source of the Danube) and the very good Museum Art Plus. Will absolutely come back here.Dear Ithaca96,thank you for your positive rate. We are looking forward to see you again. Best regards,Helene Kuttruff

The restaurant is above the Gemeindehaus (with lift) and comprises of two rooms with atmosphere. Speciality here are "cordon Bleu", chicken, pork or veal with a selection of different cheeses and fillings. Seasonal selections as well such as Wild. Very pleasant and tasty and well frequented, especially by locals.

Invited here by an business associate, I was looking forward to the visit. The restaurant is located behind the Hotel Bibermühle, and from the outdoor dining area there is an absolutely stunning view to a small waterfall. As it was late in the season and we arrived late, we decided to go inside, as it would get nippy later on. Inside the large room is divided in several stories by huge timber construction (a local building technique, I was told). There is an a la carte menu, but also a fixed gourmet menu, which I opted for. For starters is was an absolutely excellent chanterelle soup with sour cream. The main course was fillet of veal - the most tender ans succulent piece of meat I have got in a long time, together with chanterelles in cream and homemade fettuchine with herbs.Always trying to go local we took a Hagnauer Burgstall Baden Bodensee Trocken Weissherbst Spätburgunder 2016 (long name). Having presently a faible for German Spätburgunder, this was indeed a good choice. The dessert was a creamy quark mousse with small, preserved sour cherries in fair quantities. A well balanced mixture of creamy freshness and the tartness of the cherries.Service was helpful and alert.Being told that this place is much sought - both by locals and as far away as Zürich, I can clearly understand why. Absolutely recommendable.
A szobak jok. A foldrajzi elhelyezkedes jo. Sajnos maga a szalloda egy nemzetkozi foutvonal ejjel nappali duborgese es egy marha istallo erezheto kozvetlen kozeleben helyezkedik el. A reggeli rendben van, az etterem nem jo.

Avoid the back room if you can. It's Siberia. Our silverware was not set before the soup arrived, so we just sat there until a waitress realized that we lacked spoons. Our wine was opened and poured, and the bottle was left on a table in the center of the room. Alas, the waitress never returned to refill our glasses, so I did her job for her. The restaurant accepts neither AMEX nor VISA, so make sure you have cash. And count your change, because our waitress made a 10 Euro mistake.

This is a very pleasant place. We've stayed here many times over the past 15 years. Friendly owners & staff, very good food and superb Breakfast Buffet. Staff are very accomodating. The rooms are in different buildings but it's a very quiet little farming town. Rooms are spacious and clean-with a free bottle of water to boot.
