Came to 9 Church Street after reading the reviews on hereLovely little restaurant with friendly staffMonk fish starter, sea bass and pork mains were very tasty but a bit on the small side, potted chicken starter was more like a sandwich filling without mayonnaise, very disappointing Shame about the party at the other end of the restaurant who were rowdy and noisy throughout our meal which spoilt it for the 2 of us

Love this place. I guess being so close to the theatre gives a sense of urgency and they didnât let us down.We stopped in for lunch and had a nice bottle of white wine to jolly up the day.Smoked salmon starter, beef goulash followed by ice cream. They were totally gluten free aware which was perfect. Just to make it tougher Iâm allergic to egg so had to pass on the Eton mess but my wife loved it! Perfect

We ate here for my husbands birthday. The welcome was warm and friendly and the table we were given was perfect. The wines on offer were very good. I had a couple of seafood dishes which were gorgeous, the prawns are the largest iâve ever had. The only disappointing element was my husbands lasagna was dry, he didnât really enjoy it. But everything else was very nice.

Loxleyâs Restaurant & Wine Bar is an independently owned, family run business based in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Amidst all the multiples, good, individual restaurants are few and far between. On a busy Saturday night, we still managed a very enjoyable, relaxed meal. We all enjoyed the food and the choice was wide enough to please all our party. Particularly recommended: the cheese souffle, the lamb cutlets and the lemon sole.

Came on a groupon voucher, which didnât seem to be any different price really than the normal half price, still a good value meal at that.Generally good all round - friendly and efficient staff, nice old surroundings (no real ambiance but hotel booked out that night so didnât expect many people in the restaurant, although any would have been nice!), and food fresh and tasty.Plenty of food with great presentation. Canât say all was to my taste but enjoyed the experience. Would come back, perhaps when warmer to enjoy outside

33 The Scullery is a traditional british restaurant. We serve classic game dishes, seafood, steak and tasty vegetarian meals. As a family run business we pride ourselves on our warm, friendly atmosphere where you will receive quality dishes that are value
A rather informal restaurant more like a cafe, but the food was excellent. Well prepared and delicious with friendly service. My only complaint was that it is a small restaurant and the tables occupied had rather noisey diners. I would go back again for the food just wishing the ambience was better.

Modern café bistro using local seasonal produce and organic where possible. Large range of gluten free and vegetarian options also available
I am a big fan of the food at Oscoâs anyway but went with a group of friends for our Christmas lunch today. I had the soup which was served with hot toasted home made bread and then the roast turkey with lovely roasties and vegetables. Both dishes were gorgeous and I was just sorry not to have room for a pudding. My friends all agreed the food was lovely and of a very high standard. You get very generous portions as well so you never will leave feeling hungry. Brilliant food once again and the young lady who served did an excellent job as well. Well done Oscoâs once again. You always deliver on excellent food and great service!!

We had a wonderful lunch at this excellent restaurant, where the standards are unfailingly high. We had our meal on the terrace overlooking the river, on a beautiful day, watching the swans and their cygnets as well as the boats going by. The restaurant was extremely busy but the service was very pleasant and good. The food was up to the usual high standard as were the wines. My husband had the calves liver, a favourite of his, and he is surprised by some of the negative comments because the portion and quality left nothing to be desired. True it is usually served with mash but he was happy with the French fries. My pork tenderloin was succulent and, again, it was of a generous quantity. Only I had a pudding - the coffee panacotta with chocolate sauce, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Our meal was rounded off with coffee overlooking the idyllic scene. We eat out frequently and The Bridge is the tops, and us an enormous, and appreciated, asset to the area. We left well fed, relaxed and happy.
