Taberna Do Campo nace en Diciembre de 2013 después de un año reflexionando sobre nuestra experiencia en Madrid, donde durante cinco años trabajamos en un sector tan apasionante y complicado como es la restauración. La experiencia adquirida durante los 13
After arriving into Coruña airport we were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch and happened upon this place in nearby Culleredo, and were very glad we did! Food in Galicia is generally very good but also often quite traditional, with similar menus at lots of restaurants. The menu here was a little bit more adventurous, and what he had was exceptionally good: I would especially recommend the ceviche and fresh tuna salad. The service was also very good and prices were not high by any means. For any future flights in or out of Coruña I will be making sure a visit to Taberna do Campo is included!

Itâs perfectly situated and well thought out, with an area below to relax and listen to music. Why weird though? The service was very erratic even after almost having to plead for it, asking three different people supposedly manning the place if we could indeed have lunch. Limited but interesting menu offerings.

Casa miranda's version of this local speciality has won awards. A medium sized tortilla, prawns with seaweed, a salad and scallops were all delicious and enough for the 3 of us. Staff were very helpful and advised us on the menu. Get here early because the tables soon get filled up!

Casanova is possibly one of the most impeccable restaurants I've ever set foot in.It was a refreshing case of true "fine-dining" without the exorbitant prices you would normally associate with such an experience, as many of the mains are priced within the â¬12-15 range. In short, we were greeted by a modern setting but with a clear nod to history (without an ounce of kitch) in a listed building, spectacular service (attentive, cordial, friendly, professional and never overbearing), totally homemade authentic and tasty food and, also, traditional menu but with a distinctly unique personality. For instance, the excellent "almejas a la marinera" was coated in a spectacular sauce/soup that gave it a very special taste that, to be honest, you won't find in many other places.Similarly, one of our mains, "bacalao en salsa de coliflor" was one of a kind and tasted exceptional. It's also worth adding that we were treated to a mini "aperitif" as we sat down: an Andaluz 'shot' of gazpacho, which was top notch. As for the wine, take your pick amongst the Galician best. We went for the most local choice which is a white from Betanzos itself ("vino de la tierra de Betanzos") called "Eladio Migal" and we were in owe. Light, gentle, and with a lot of personality.Just a real pity that we don't live in Betanzos because I'm fairly sure we'd be regulars at "Casanova".

This has become one of my favorite spots to eat when I am in Galicia. You can find here the most traditional dishes of the region for a very good price. The place is cozy, clean, the food is fresh, and the dishes are out of this world. My favorites are: Empanada gallega, Callos, Pulpo, Gambas con cachelos, Salpicon de Bogavante, Croquetas vegetarianas, Rodaballo al horno, Mero a la Ondarresa, Jarrete de ternera al horno, Ensalada de Salmon con aguacate y mango, Solomillo de ternera al Oporto. They have a variety of wines selections pair your dish with. And by the way, the hosts Juan Carlos and Esther are really friendly and welcoming which makes you feel at home but in a restaurant. They are located in the heart of Betanzos where you can walk around appreciate the town emblematic architecture.

Good traditional food at very reasonable prices. Imperative to reserve during the week ends as it can get very crowded.
