We had the set evening menu for our seven night stay and each one was outstanding, not just good, but outstanding. Inventive, light cooking with delightful ingredients gave our palates a real treat. Both the Schmitta restaurant and pizzeria in town were closed, this seemed to be the only place open. We were pleasantly surprised by our meal. there were plenty to choose from on the menu especially for vegetarians. I had the Herbstteller, which was delicious and came with a side of sweet chestnuts and a succulent baked apple. My partner had the vegetable pie which was also delicious and very filling. Shame we were too full to try a dessert. Look forward to coming back for a visit during the ski season.Thank you very much for your feedback.See you soon. Quite unique setting up on a hill by itself. The rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. There were multiple hikes directly from the hotel, which were extremely beautiful when we visited.Good restaurant and tasty home-brewed beer round out a comfortable stay.Thank you for your nice feedback. We were there last winter and had a wonderful menu, the waiter has very attentive and friendly. The wine list was exceptional with a tremendous selection of local wine, with rare sorts of wines from the area. The owner drove us back to our hotel in Fiesch, when that is not great service, then I don't know what that is.

We were really tired the evening we arrived, the gentleman working was very friendly and helpful. We shared a pizza which was amazing, had a hot pepper oil on the side which was fabulous. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant not only is this a beautiful area to visit, its great service and great food. Thank you

For your consideration the following situation: The allmighty Sun is casting her mercyless rays unto the snow covered slopes of Bellwald. You, a hapless skier, victim of this cruel celetial body's emmanations are in search on a sanctuary to refuel your bodily fluids and mental capacities. You spy this restaurant/bar called White Rabbit. Is your name Alice? No matter,you go down into the rabbithole.Great sunny terrace, Food until 4p.m., Frenchfries come with ketchup and mayo. There is punch with Schuss available. That is: hot water with some alcoholic addition and a satchel of sugary powder with flavour. As alcoholic component I chose Rum. What brand? no idea. There are three kind of sugary powder: Apple, Orange and Forest Berries. Which one should you choose? I took it upon myself to test all of themfor you prior to writing this and my recommendation is: orange. Don't take forest berries, I only used 75% of thesatchel and it was waaaaay too sweet for me and tasted kind of artificial.. If you are American: take the forest berries they are excellent.

I must say some of the best dining experience ever. The restaurant really deserves the gault millau rating. We went there with very high expectation that was even surpassed. The food was excellent and decorated with lots of passion and love. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant very nice. When looking from the outside you would nevery expect such a fantastic dining place. The place is obvioulsy not cheap but we were positvely surprised when we got the bill, the price/value ratio it really good.
