Three of us had a delightful dinner here recently. We were warmly welcomed and seated then promptly waited upon. The drinks were brought in short order as was our delicious food including the excellent octopus. Service was attentive but not intrusive and the sound level allowed normal conversation. The Lantern is conveniently located near City Hall and all the bus routes including the newly introduced Glider. We will be back.

Absolutely top notch! Fabulous personal service but not over the top. Beautiful cocktails, food was exceptional, I had black bean tofu stir fry - it was the most delicious vegetarian meal I've had since visiting Asia 2years ago. My husband had the chicken salad dish which was equally fresh and tasty . Excellent value for such a high quality, professionally cooked meal. Restaurant was not overcrowded, this place very obviously specialises in the importance of customer experience Would recommend to book early to avoid disappointment

Attentive service, impressive food and quirky interior. We dined from the 3 courses for £19.95 menu. The host (James) was attentive, explained the menu (with any changes) and got everything spot on. Although it's a small restaurant he was the only front of house staff but he remained unflappable. The fish was well cooked and presented, the cheesecake light but flavoursome. The lamb was slow cooked and soft but retained all the flavour you would expect. Lemon and Rosemaey mash very tasty. Pear and almond tart is very delicious. We'll be back to this hidden gem.

Specialising in neapolitan stone fired pizza made with quality ingredients cooked at 450 degrees in 60 seconds to produce a classic soft crispy crust.
After seeing previous reviews for Reggies I was excited to try the pizza, but I left a little disappointed. The place could do with some background music to liven the restaurant up. It is bring your own which is good and the staff are very friendly. The pizzas were good and moderately priced, but nothing special. Personally I think there are better places for pizza in Belfast.

Coffee | Food | Drink | Social Instagram: @townsqcafe / @townsqbar We're open from the break of dawn right through to the early hours. Serving Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch & Dinner with world class coffee and cocktails in between.
I had lunch with family here and we were looking for a fry. The waitress was accommodating and said the chef could customise their âfry in a bapâ for us. I had the avocado, poached egg on toast and it was very small. I left still hungry and it didnât have roasted tomatoes as other images showed. The poached egg was hard and disappointing as was the overcooked single slice of bacon which cost and additional £1. I shouldnât have bothered as it was tasteless. The coffee tasted nice, however was very small.I am sorry that you left less than fully satisifed with our food offering. The coffees only come in one size (8oz), which is the standard for a specialty coffee shop. However, I would love if you could email me with the time and date that you ate with us so I can investigate the matter of the missing item and the poor quality food. Thanks
