A very small restaurant with terrace . The sort of local restaurant serving local home cooked dishes that is now hard to find in Provence where nearly every restaurant serves the same rubbish . This is a two person Bar/ Restaurant .A very friendly owner serving at table with his talented wife in the kitchen . Very small blackboard menu that changes daily . Good cheap house wine. Well worth the climb up to this out of the way village with stunning views over the Lac St Croix . Don't expect a gourmet meal its just good honest local food well cooked .

Restaurant and brand new gîtes available. After travelling many years i have decided to settle for a while in this small village. Come and try my food from around the world. As well as traditional food. You are all more than welcome If you need somewhere
Really typical French restaurant with great views. Worth it if youâre passing through or stopping in the village. The duck legs and beef tartare were real highlights, as were the desserts.Thank you Sam

We chanced upon this place one evening. We thought a school group were staying at the hotel, they turned out to be waiting staff! Their uniform & exterior of the hotel/restaurant looked pretty tacky. An attractive terrace across the road, with an appetising menu caught our eye and it was only after we were seated for dinner that we realised it was the same place! The food was excellent and the view superb. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, polite and did not rush us.The fixed price menu was very good value. It was the most enjoyable evening of our holiday.

Right in the middle of a touristic village, at the beginning of the greatest canyon in Europe and near the lake Ste Croix.Le Restaurant l'Escapade offers you a traditional "french cuisine" using fresh and local products.Open every day for lunch and dinner
The Croustade of Camembert (Filo dough filled with cheese and roasted apples) was perfect for lunch, with a venere rice (risotto like) as side dish. I also tasted the panna Cotta which was allright. The restaurant is well located in the center, offers a sunny terrace and the service is fair. The prices are a bit high though, but the menu is original and I think that's the reason.

We are as a couple for dinner here at the end of May. The location is fantastic, the service is very good too - unfortunately the food didnât live up to it. I must say, it wasnât terrible - it was just OK. I think a little more French love could go into the food and this place would be perfect. We had the duck and the steak. The portions for us are too big, but thatâs better than too small! Itâs definitely worth a visit, but not the best.

So nice we found this cosy spot! We had lovely entrecote with a very nice honeysauce. The dessert was very good as well. Friendly service and an overwhelming atmosphere!

Pizzas, salades, buckwheat pancakes, pancakes, ice cream
Lovely place, with a full terrace. This is a busy place, that's way we also went to eat here. We understand why. This is a friendly place, charming people, nice eating. This is no haut cuisine, but just having a nice diner in a beautiful scenery.

Lâactuel is a lovely small restaurant however I would definitely recommend booking as it gets extremely busy. Nice decor and the food is delicious but one dish wasnât just as good. Service was good however one man was very unwelcoming Overall though I would recommend!

We had lunch there and as it was a bit windy we sat in the sheltered section. They were able to prepare a vegetarian dish. The bread served was delicious. The location is great and offers a lovely view over the lake. Will be going back.

La Part des Anges is modeled on Spanish Tapas restaurant with a shared-eating concept. We aim to serve only the freshest ingredients, sourced locally and ethically as possible. Located in a 12th century hotel, the terrace offers a nice view on Moustier's
We arrived a little late into Moustiers and were trawling around the town looking for a bite to eat at around 2:45pm. Most places had just stopped serving lunch, but this restaurant welcomed us in. We weren't expecting much as it was basically our last option, but we had amazing seats on the shady terrace overlooking what has to be the most panoramic view from any restaurant in the town! The place was empty and the waiter who served us had excellent English (with an English accent... maybe he studied at an international school or has lived in the UK?) We ordered baked Camembert and a tomato tart, both of which were delicious. Plus the obligatory glass of Bau (a sparking Muscat made in nearby Fourcalquier -- yum)! Thanks for your feedback David, We are extremely happy you enjoyed your time here at La Part des Anges.
