We were driving through Enniscorthy and spotted this place. Its very authentically Italian and we had a nice welcome. We both had two small bruschetta and for main course I had the chick pea vegan dish and my wife the arrabbiata. Both were very nice. My wife had two glasses of wine and I had a soft drink. I had an unusual pineapple based desert to finish, can't remember what it was called, but again very nice. The bill came to 72 Euro.Yes, the food is very good but for the portion size I consider it overpriced. One other slightly odd thing is that they let the dirty crockery and cutlery pile up on the counter and by the time we left there was quite a pile. We were sat by the window away from the counter, so for us not so much of an issue. Not sure I would have been happy sat next to it though. Seemed an odd thing to do.Dear sir, This wants to be a general apologetic reply to all who have written reviews about how small our portions are. The reason is due to our chefâs fine dining background, which took a few days to be adjusted. It happened between June and July when he was being trained in. But now he integrated very well with our normal standards. However, it would have been nice to mention it to your server. We would have done anything to keep all of the 3 of you happier (again, this reply wants to cover the other two reviewers that encountered the same experience in the same week. Again, apologise and we hope to welcome all you back.

Jo and I had , once again, an excellent lunch here in Cistin Eile. We have been here many times and the food quality is always excellent . We always have the corned beef sandwich and the chicken sandwich , which we share .The flavors in these sandwiches are unbelievable , the very best that we have ever tasted in Ireland. The service is always excellent too. We would highly recommend and we will certainly be back.

The head chef Fergal Dempsey has worked in The Shelbourne and The Morrison and also set up Le Bon Crubeen in Dublin to name but a few. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced and chemical free produce. We only serve the freshest of fish so come in and
Just happened to see this restaurant and called in for an early dinner. The room is lovely with a busy buzz. The food was excellent and arrived promptly. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and we'll certainly be back. There were queues when we were leaving so you would need to book for a later dinner

Dined here during the week, our first time as we were visitors in Wexford. Well from the efficiency of their online table booking system, to the smiling ladies who greeted us, though extremely busy, to the service, the food and its presentation, there was not even one element of our evening to niggle about. Well done all, 100% across the board!! Highly recommend.
