Authentic and Traditional Spanish Food.
Last time I had tapas this good I was in Spain. I don't know of a place in Melbourne to match here....maybe True South in Black Rock. There is something on the menu for all tastes. We shared sardines, croquettes, meatballs, calamari and whitebait...all excellentquality.. The Verdelho wine that we chose was a great match with the food. Will call again when I next visit Ballarat.

Dine in air conditioned comfort on a sunny afternoon or under the stars in the evening. Serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner in a spacious light filled glass roofed conservatory in the historic courtyard of Craigâs Royal Hotel. The perfect place for inform
Staff are attentive, the atmosphere is refined but not pretentious. My gluten free blue eye with roe and baby baked fennel was divinely delicious. My colleague enjoyed her fabulous looking risotto. We appreciated the modest serving sizes. Our wines were very agreeable. We resisted dessert and the excellent dessert wine list. We warmly recommend.

Lola offers stylish, European inspired dining, beautifully shaped each season by our regionâs best locally sourced produce. Our 55 seat dining room provides a relaxed and elegant dining experience, beautifully styled in our signature hotel design.
Very underwhelmed, I ordered the apple tart with vanilla bean ice cream. Arrived no ice cream, a tart case with some light cream that tasted like it was from a can piped in little blobs on top & couple of raspberries. When questioned about the ice cream a small ball of plain ice cream was added next to tart on plate, definitely not vanilla bean. The apple very little taste, the tart case was very nice but thatâs where it ended. My partners pear crumble that actually had no crumble was also lacking in flavour. Whilst we enjoyed the surroundings, and watched main meals come out which looked absolutely delicious. Iâm thinking Lolaâs a great place for lunch, maybe go elsewhere for dessert.
