In Winter 2009, old roots were revived â with the new Unterwirt Hüttn our dream came true: to have âan old hutâ at Maibrunn-Abfahrt (Maibrunn slope)... from the slope to the bar or sitting inside where itâs warm! Based on traditional models, it took a lot
Oh how I love skiing in Austria - so much better, friendlier and cheaper than France. This place sums up the difference. Helpful, quick, efficient and friendly staff who are very welcoming. Great and well priced food. Fabulous atmosphere. We stopped here a few times for food and drink. Great spot and right on the piste.
Nice place to well eat, drink an excellent coffee and relax. The staff was friendly and very nice. Food was delicious and coffee - on of the best in Austria

Restaurant Nock-In is situated close to the upper station of the Brunnach funicular in Bad Kleinkirchheim. It is a modern squat building, but with an excellent outdoor seating area. We are accustomed, that restaurants, situated at the upper station of a funicular are self service, with mediocre products and elevated prices (part of these price hikes can of course be explained by the complex logistics). But Restaurant Nock-In employs waiters and waitresses, so we were served at our table with coffee and cake, which were surprisingly good. What remained were the elevated prices. But summing up, we had a nice sit-down, also due to the glorious weather.

We visit Carinthie every year. In winter we love to go to this great mountain cabin. You walk appr. 30-45 mins uphill in a beautifull snow landscapes. On top you will find this very cozy cabin where you get very good, homemade food. All the meat, bread, soups etc is homemade and tastes delicious. When there is enough snow, you can go 'rodeln' which means that you can take your sleigh or borrow one and you sleigh down hill. Great fun for the whole family!! This time we went also in summer and spent a night in the cabin. They only have a few beds available. We all love this place and will come back for sure. The owners are very, very friendly people and make this place even more special!!

We eat here every time we visit BKK. Consistently good quality. The steaks (with horseradish sauce) are good as are the pizzas (the Styria) being personal favourites. Be careful though with cost as VAT is added onto the final bill. Good ambience and service, clean with good food. Recommended.

We had hoped to stay at this hotel, but rooms weren't available. Had read about the restaurant and made lunch restaurants as we were going through Bad Kleinkirchheim on our way to Worthersee. The ambiance in the 400-year old bulding was lovely with white tableclothes, candles at every table, and the very kind, lovely waitress in traditional costume. The food was beautifully presented - the special "dumplings" stuffed with onion, potato and quark in a brown butter sauce were unusual and tasty, but a bit too rich for a full meal. My husband had the most delicious wienerschnitzel of our 6-weeks in Europe. Flaky, light crust and tender, flavorful meat. There was nothing we could find fault with. A pleasure we hope to enjoy again one day.

When you are walking to the middle of the village, you will find this place just on the opposite side of the Roemer Bad. They have more guests for supper. Try to be early for weekends; it means before 7 p. m. They serve ordinary Austrian and Carinthian food from soups to Wiener schnitzel and they have nice salads and fine desserts. When you order main dish â it is big enough for two persons. Place is not expensive if you donât order expensive wines. Fine eating but nothing really special.
