Find a place on the terrace on a sunny day and you would never want to leave. Great for very good affordable food, superb for people-watching; this hotel-restaurant that's been run by the same family for eight generations is definitely the place to eat in Remouchamps. Our party liked the veal carpaccio, quiche lorraine and shrimp croquettes â the food is well prepared and the ingredients are fresh, with salad accompanying all the dishes.

Been there a couple of times and I must say that it was not consistent from an experience perspective. I asked other friends and they confirmed my mixed feelings. They have a nice card, brasserie style, reasonable price and good service but I can't explain myself why it changed from one moment to another but I would say try your luck, it is worth it!

In touristic places it is not always easy to select good restaurants. This Brasserie was recommanded for the quality of the food. It is true that in general meals seem homemade and qualitative. But i lost confidence when i was presented "something" to be chicken when i am sure it was not. 100 % sure. No idea what that was. Was pink and seemed industrial food. So i felt fooled and you wonder when you pay "a bit more than a touristic place" if the food is really homemade or if they "cheat" on the quality. Because this is what i call cheating ... A pity.

Probably the best burger Iâve ever had. Try the spicy!! Also, really good, pleasant service in a town which is as unfriendly as they get. Highly recommended if you happen to be stuck in this place.

This restaurant is a tale of two halves. It is two buildings kind of nailed together, the half we were in had a corrugated plastic roof, which alerted us to the fact that it was raining outside. The place was full, we had reserved in advance, something I would recommend. The menu was a large blackboard placed on our table. We went through an aperitif served with olives and a starter of scampi for me. I was just explaining how awesome this was, when I tried my fiancee's goats cheese creation and wished I had picked that. Main course was lamb and if I have any criticism, it would be that the gratin dauphinois, were not as awesome as everything else. Food was washed down with wine that was â¬28 a bottle, a little steep this. The next day we headed to Spa and on the way we reviewed our evening. Our bill was â¬100 and we thought of all the things you could spend this money on. A nice shirt, that may last years, for instance. All we had for our cash were memories, but what memories they are. My fiancee said this was the best dinning experience she had ever had. So was this money well spent? Yes, absolutely. There are lots of places to eat in Aywaille. You may want to walk around and pick something else. However, if you want to make yourself and those with you very happy, visit this place.

Grill restaurant of +/- 12 varieties of meat with wood fire, with the possibility of having a choice of 2 fish dishes and a vegetarian dish.
We visited from UK in May. Little English was spiken but they were so friendly and food was fantastic. Caution though Americano burger is really steak Tatar (insert embarrassed smiley) they very kindly exchanged my faux pas for a real cooked burger! Highly reccomended!

Small and cosy , your food is prepared at your side impeccably with loving care . Great quality raw materials , especially charcuterie and cheeses. I had a delicious croquette de crevettes to start followed by sensationally flavoured home made ravioli with delicious thyme infused home made tomato sauce. Would love to know what they do to make it so tasty. Good wines , light - my perfect lunch

Fans of the money game called football that live close to a city called Liège, that are supporters of a local football club called Standard, that have a job, that regularly go to a restaurant, that do not mind being in the middle of nowhere and most of all are capable of spending a bit more than the average price of a decent restaurant in the city, will probably know Rouge du Poivre. Others will not. Or like in my case, you know someone who fits the definition above. But I will mention the fact that parking space is plenty, the scenery for having your drinks before dinner on a hot summer evening (close to the pitch of a soccer stadium) is original and that the dining experience is extremely realistic.......with realistic meaning you actually feel like the food itself...........cooked, boiled, braised, grilled.........;this restaurant ladies and gentlemen does not have a/c or at least not a device capable of cooling down an aquarium type location facing the southwest side of the stadium. As a result, on a hot summer evening, you end up like a pizza, melted on top, crusty on the side which is sad because I wanted to talk about the food...... So my attention was all about cooling down during dinner (i will not tell you what I did under the tablecloth) instead of enjoying the nice restaurant setting, the steak tartare, the tuna burger, the creamy risotta with green asparragus and the very chilly Italian wine (thanks for that). The food was well prepared, not spectacular but good, I cannot say otherwise. But in all fairness, you pay approx. 65 eur per person for dinner, you are far away from city centre and in summer time you get grilled while dining and I am not a soccer fan......so that was one time experience.
