Leonardos has quickly become our go-to favourite restaurant. The service from the older Italian waiter is always 5*s and he canât do enough to help you. Customisation of dishes is no problem at all and portions are great sizes and thereâs always a great variety of things to eat. The menu is labelled with any common dietary requirement, wheat, dairy, meat, etc which you just donât get else where and is really helpful. Would always recommend to friends, keep up the good work!

The historic canal-side pub with live music, food, and drinks galore. Beautiful views. We are dog friendly and there is free WiFi. Bands every Saturday and most Fridays with impromptu sessions on a regular basis.
Three of us lunched here. Two of us have been before and the setting - right on the Kennett and Avon Canal, complete with resident heron on the far bank - is gorgeous. It's a place where boaters/barge-travellers etc relish.Service was priceless and it made the lunch better than it might otherwise have been! We ordered our curry and were then advised that the one entered on the till wasn't the one the kitchen had. That was okay, at least the menu and the kitchen had been talking and we got what we had ordered. The till was the intransigent one. Then, after ordering a salted caramel ice cream, one of us received a huge piece of salted caramel cheesecake. 'Oh, you wanted ice cream. They're in the freezer over there,' indicated the waitperson! 'I'll get you one.' When the bill arrived the friendliest of blokes said to our host: 'There was a bit of a mix-up with the bill, sir, does (and he mentioned the amount) sound about right?' It did, but the lack of hospitality training made for a most amusing - in fact delightful - lunch. Sometimes you need to get back to basics and forget all the poncy stuff. And the food was great.

Probably the best choice in Devizes. I had booked a table - just as well as it gets full even mid-week - and four of us ate there and we all were very happy with our food. The atmosphere was buzzing - not obtrusively noisy but wonderfully busy - the servive was excellent.I strongly suggest you try it!

As we wanted to eat out on a Sunday evening we decided to pop in & book. All done efficiently for the following evening. The welcome was lovely & staff were very caring & efficient. At 6pm the place was a little quiet but soon livened up with party groups and couples, upstairs and down - glad we booked a table. The food and drink were glorious and large platefuls, considering the price. Food and drinks plus coffees all for under £37 - bargain. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Silks On The Downs is best described as a friendly & homely ' Gastro Pub '. Our menus change regularly and we source locally from the fantastic produce available around us. We are located in Ogbourne St Andrew, one mile outside the beautiful market town o

Came here when we decided to spend my wife's 60th birthday weekend in Marlborough. It was a busy Saturday evening, however we were served very efficiently and in a cheerful manner, including the owner helping out later in the evening. There was an error with part of my daughter's order but it was quickly rectified and we were given other complimentary food on the house without even having to ask for it.The food was very enjoyable and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant,

Dan's is one of the few independent restaurants of Marlborough and we are all about doing the simple things well - Great food, great service and lots of things to drink. Seating 20-30 guests Dan's is a small and cosy place with a great buzz and atmosphere
The good folk of Marlborough love the good things in life, their town, their college their market and their food. Why else would a famous seafood chef, author, and presenter open a restaurant here. However go slightly off the High Street and find Dan's, and you won't be disappointed here either. The welcome is warm, the service is superb and the food is to die for! We enjoyed the sharer, three of the small meals plus two of the sides, a meal for two for £28,and it was superb! We chose the carpaccio of beef with celeriac remoulade &deliciously sharp apple puree; brie & caramelised onions in filo pastry, with a plum compote & gin& tonic prawns in light and crispy batter. The deal also included our choice of French fries and house salad.Everything was delicious, we would gladly recommend this to anyone who likes good food.Plus, there was so much more on the menu. Thank you we will be back!Richard and Ruth
