Established in 1866 and recently renovated by new owners in June 2019 the New Orleans Hotel is the original Arrowtown country pub and a must see when visiting historical Arrowtown. The restaurant and bar is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Serving cla
The gin was clearly watered down, a âdouble shotâ of Bombay sapphire and I couldnât taste a thing. The sharing platter was the worst Iâve had in the whole of New Zealand... a few squares of tasteless rubber cheese and some ham from a packet bought in the local supermarket. Truly disgraceful for $28.. The Chefs should be ashamed

We decided to go for afternoon tea and thought we'll try here. The place was virtually empty so very quiet apart from the music playing in the background. Coffee very average (won't recommend the coffee) but the beautiful lemon creme in soux pastry was incredible. I would have that again but only as a takeaway. Staff not very warm/friendly and no atmosphere. Glad I was with a friend.Thank you for taking time to write a review

Absolutely love this place, have been here every time we visit Queenstown over the past 3 years. The food is excellent and the setting is divine. Recommend booking in advance as it is quite popular these days. The rosè was not as delightful as previous years but still good. Seafood chowder is excellent as are the prawns. The service was a bit lax at first (25 mins waiting for the wine) but they rallied and all went well with the food. Kids menu is also available and very good.

Housed in the original farm stables, the Hole In One Café is a great place to relax after a day's sightseeing, a round of golf or a catch up with some friends. Delicious muffins, cakes and pastries all freshly baked onsite and perfectly complement our gre
Cold beer, good snacks, staff who are really friendly, the only negative is that we all thought it to be really expensive.

Settlers Bar & Restaurant in Arrowtown offers a delicious cuisine inspired by dishes with a European - Asian infusion, to appeal to every palate. The Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at great prices and also caters for functions and events.
The saying quality over quantity is correct at this delightful restaurant. The meals were not large but they were filling enough and were A1 quality in taste and presentation. We dined on Sat 19th Jan 2019 and I had Snitzel with veggies $22, my daughter had Billy Bob Joe $25 and both satisfied our appetite after a long day. The restaurant is large and welcoming and the staff are equally welcoming and warm. Thank You for a delicious meal and when we are back travelling your beautiful area again we will most certainly call in again.

Welcome to the Fork & Tap: Our charming and historic Restaurant/Bar is located in the heart of Arrowtown; providing an array of NZ craft beers, excellent wine options and fresh, delicious food to match.
We always stop here for a drink and food after a long day biking or walking and have never been disappointed. Decor looking a little tired these days and could do with a freshen up especially outdoors, but canât complain about the food or service.Thank you very much for your review - we are due to begin a big Spring tidy up outside once the school holidays are over ready for a busy Summer - we'd love to know your thoughts when we're done. We hope to see you again soon!

Small cozy restaurant hidden off of the main drag. The Spanish menu had various sized tapas to share. The portions were generous, authentic and nicely presented. Complementary garlic bread was excellent! We also enjoyed watermelon ceviche, polenta with sautéed mushrooms, and prawns. Craft cocktail list was very good, with a well-balanced wine list. Mostly locals in the restaurant, reservations are needed, or option to sit at the bar as we did. Staff very friendly.

The roaring fire at the Millhouse Restaurant evokes an ambience of romance in the winter, while al fresco dining by the Mill Pond is an ideal way to spend a summer evening. Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Andi Bozhiqi, the Millhouse kitche
Lovely meal overall. And one of the finest dishes Iâve eaten in a long time.But... some issues as well which detracted from a good night out. The good and great - the beetroot and goats cheese salad. Amazing flavour punch and a beautiful dish. One of the best things Iâve eaten in a long time. The amuse they served and the main course of a trio of lamb were also really nice. The not so good. Unfortunately it equals the good. A weird dish of salmon and spring vegetables with a jus. It was halfway between Vietnamese and cafe fusion fare. It was not good. And a couple of weird desert courses. Most odd was a chocolate mouse studded with chocolate rice bubble cake. Like. 5 year oldâs birthday dessert. With a nice enough raspberry gelato, but the flavour and texture clash made this dish a clunker. Final score. Three good to great and three unmotivated to poor dishes. Hmmm. Overall I enjoyed it all, but left a bit disappointed. A waitress (new and nervous) dropped our main course of food on our table in a major clanger. Not so much as even a sorry from the restaurant manager or a glass of wine as we had to wait another 15 minutes for replacement food to come. That was poor. Accidents happen but itâs easy for the mgt to fix, and in this occasion they failed the test. All in all. Itâs good. Dear 888Hamm,Thank you for providing us with your feedback, we are pleased that some of the dishes hit the mark for you and apologize that the others weren't to your taste. I personally spoke to the Manager on duty the following morning about the dropped plate and they assured me that they had been over to apologise so i will follow up on that.We hope to see you back at Millbrook and The Millhouse in the near future.Kind Regards,Matt McDonald
