We (myself and my two children) went to this restaurant because it was almost next door to our hotel (Hasina). The free WIFI sign attracted our attention. The interior is a bit bleak, but the food was surprisingly good, as was the wifi (very fast). The children enjoyed this restaurant. If you like haute cuisine this is not for you. But if you like convenience, fast wifi and good value for money then you cannot go wrong.

I stopped in here for lunch and to get out of the rain! This is a pretty nice restaurant and I enjoyed the people watching from the second floor balcony. Antsirabe is a busy little town and there is a constant stream of people by here.

Delicious european starters, with Salade Landaise or Duck Foie Gras, at very reasonnable prices. Zebu fillet and many other good things on the menu. I would avoid the Magret de Canard (Duck Fillet), which is not prepared the way I like it: it is sliced and then cooked, which makes it a bit dry.

Set in a tropical garden in the city center, the setting is pleasant . His cuisine highlights local products in international dishes , such as raclette , tartiflette , but also specializes in spices and herbs with very popular Creole and Indian dishes in
Anyone travelling to Madagascar can easily get bored with the relatively small selection of different food at most restaurants, this is not the case at L'Insolite. The menu selection was gigantic, ranging from tacos, to fondues, to sandwiches and steaks. The food was prepared rather slowly, but I believe this is ran by just a guy and his wife. They are French, however the husband speaks decent English.

This restaurant was recommended by our driver, so we decided to try it out. The seating mounted pouse-pouse seats, which are comfortable, and atmosphere are quite special. The menu is not extensive, but there are daily specials. The food is French and international inspired, but with local ingredients. The food we had was very good, and the service very friendly. Pretty cheap as well, and not too busy for dinner when we were there.

This is where I had dinner in Antsirabe and would really recommend this place. But they do only open in the evening for dinner.I don't know exactly what time they are open but I went there at 12pm and they were closed and there were a man who advised me to come back in the evening and could tell you that this is a real place for dinner.
