Two years ago we came here. My colleagues probably were there 4 years ago, too. This time we went for 2 dinners in a row, with an average of 35 pax.The first time the personnel wasn't kind at all with none of us...I just let you know that a colleague from Singapore doubted if the waiters understood that WE were the customers and that we were going to pay...and not vice versa...The second dinner, everything was pre-arranged, set menu, but drinks were excluded...1/3 of the amount was wine, beers and grappa....nobody could double check the stated amount...It seemed we weren't treated properly, so that's the reason why we didn't go back for the last night...

This country hotel and restaurant is on the main road from Diepersdorf to Leinburg, a good starting point for discovering the area around Nürnburg. Good area for cycling. The hotel has its own butcher's shop in the same house. The front is restaurant and butcher and behind is the hotel and fields where sheep and chickens live under the fruit trees. The pervading smell of the butcher's shop could disturb guests. Not me. The hotel rooms are simple, country style, Bavarian, clean and everything functions. The breakfast appears to be simple and not very exciting until Frau Löhner asks if you would like something cooked. Take care, the Bratwurst, Leberkäse, Schnitzel and eggs could be too much for you. Not me. Yes, and the coffee is great and abundant too. The restaurant is cosy and very well visited. The place is so well known that it is often absolutely full. No wonder when you look at the menu and try the food. Frau Löhner and her family and staff do a superb job in looking after their guests. Always in good spirits, smiling and looking to be sure everyone is satisfied. You have to try this place but be careful you don't put on too much weight from the tempting meals.

This genuine Bavarian restaurant with an almost caricaturally decorated interior full of Teutonic paraphernalia was fully-booked with locals on a Saturday evening. The trout was fresh to the bone and full of flavour although a wee bit âoverfriedâ. The accompanying salad was good as well. The wheat beer (Tucher Hefeweissbier) was absolutely outstanding and paired perfectly with the dish.Service was inevitably slow but friendly. The bill including dessert for two persons came to 45 Euro.Sehr gut.

A great, if slightly cramped location for brunch. Its and Espresso bar with food, which was was Crepes and flammeküeche. It was quick tasty and in expensive.Service was quick and the staff were helpful with translation. No English menus.

We spent a misty evening at this cozy restaurant in the village of Diepersdorf at the foot of the Moritzberg. I had a starter of salmon with potato pancakes, followed by Zwiebelrostbraten (beefsteak in onion sauce). Both of these dishes were very well executed, and my dinner companions were also rather happy with their dishes. One had a fish dish that is a specialty of Bremen, and the other had Schweinbraten (roast pork). The menu has a large selection of excellent German dishes in addition to those we enjoyed. The service, while a bit slow, was friendly and competent. This restaurant is located in a hotel, so those who have eaten or imbibed heartily and wish to stay the night have the possibility to do so. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling through the northern Bavarian countryside, which is locally known as Franconia.

The Blaue Traube in Tripadvisor is listed as a restaurant, but it also has rooms available. In my opinion, the price quality ratio of these rooms is very good - very spacious and new (my room had a separate seating area) - good WIFI - nice breakfast - good food in the restaurant (nice garden) If the restaurant is closed (Monday/Tuesday) then there are 2 good further restaurants nearby Not close to the SBahn of Burgthann - about 2 km away- but once there less than 20 minutes and 6 Euros to Nuernberg Hauptbahnhof. The town itself is nice - but not very lively I would recommend this place and would stay here again

Altdorf is a nice city not so far from Nurnberg, but this restaurant is a "must" is we pass by the A6 autoroute. If you are hungry, you will be not. Staff is really german, not all of them speaks other languages than german. But they'll manage it..Food is simple, local... what I recommend, is "Schaufelle". Served mit "knoedel" and salat.
