Our landlord recommended the ristorante and so we went. Our navi found it but er didn't believe our navi and drove by the house. Then we drove onto a courtyard and still didn't believe there was a restaurant. Some people on the courtyard nodded to us and pointed up some stairs towards an unmarked door. We went through the door and walked into a very nice and clean ristorante. The portions are big, the quality very good and the dishes are local. Grandma is the person behind the pasta fatta en casa. The wine list is long and I very much doubt there is one mediocre wine on the list: even the cheaper, open wines are great. We enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere very much.

We went here for a family meal at Christmas as a large group. The food was excellent for everyone but what really stood out was how attentive they were to my wife who is vegan. The meal stretched over a number of courses and for every course they had prepared a vegan version and made a point of coming out to explain to her what was in each course. At what must have been a very busy time for everyone it stood out the care and attention they had taken. It has been a pleasure ! We always try to prepare food for everyone with love in respect of the necessity or the desire of each one ...Thankyou for this special reference! see you soon

Abbiamo preso i tortelli di vari tipi e la Carne di Chianina...tutto perfetto... polenta fritta ottima... la proprietaria un pochino particolare, ma io l'adoro lo stesso

We were a big company of 25 who went for nice Sunday lunch. Plenty of kids and space for them to play on. Food was classic plates from the region. Quality is very good. Unfortunately the restaurant didnât have enough waiters to serve the 100 guests. Pity that a good impression gets ruined by something that banal

Family friendly nice restaurant that serves typical Parmesan cuisine. Crowded on Sunday noons. We enjoyed the "torta fritta" with salumi, the tortellis, as well as the meat dishes, like the "stinco" and the "bracioline di agnello". Would certainly go there again.

You need a car to get to the place, no public transportation. It's located very much on the countryside and not far from Parma. The other condition to visit the place is to want to eat typical Parma Food, Parma dishes. The last condition is to have a hearty appetite, no place for diets, vegans, vegetarians or special food requirement. Is eating as one did 100 years ago after a long day of hard work on the fields. Enjoy

This is an excellent restaurant, run by a very passionate man who's fond of opera music (Verdi as background music) and the local kitchen of Emilia-Romagna. There is no written menu, so just go along with the suggestions of the owner. We were brought excellent starters (multiple plates) so we could try and taste a number of local specialities. All accompanied by the explanations of the owner, who stopped by our table many times to inquire how we found his suggestions and just curious to learn more about us. After two tasteful primi (I went for the unavoidable local classic: the tortellini di zucca), we had no place anymore for another maincourse. The secondi of beef we saw being served to the other two tables were huge and looked fantastic, but we were fully satisfied.... At least that's what we thought, because the owner convinced us to go for a dolce. Since we had difficulties in making a choice, he simply brought a plate with his four favourite deserts! This was a great experience. A passionate cook who loves the products he's serving and who's proud of what he brings to your table. When we asked where we could find good balsamico, he told us we were at the right place and we got top products presented along with some good advice. We paid â¬67,5 for our dinner which is good value for your money. Great place!
