Things to do in Fidenza

I found the prices very honest, the staff extremely kind. Torta frutta and salumi were good, while I found very anonymous the first courses (both the gramigna and tortelli). Desserts were standard. The place is quite recent and I think it still has to find its own identity, insisting more on the inn side than on that restaurant. For example, I found the insistence with which the raw materials are explained exaggerated (sometimes annoying), praising their superb qualities that frankly it's hard to find when tasting the dish. I think there is a good starting point on which refining the identity of the restaurant

osteria tipica Emiliana a conduzione famigliare con prodotti del territorio Piatti della tradizione Contadina e ambiente informale
A bit hidden away in the countryside, but this is part of the charme. Cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Excellent choice of different, local dishes, with sufficient choice also for vegetarians. Portions are abundant, and the quality is absolutely great. Lovely place, and we will definitely be back!

The most perfect lunch spot in Parma! I came here with 12 contractors and stoped for lunch. Their charcuteri is among the best I ever tasted after spending 10 years and more than 25 business trips in the area. The Culaccia is excellent! Try with the Terre Verdiande Lambrusco N.V.

The Hosteria N.1000 is located at the side of the Duomo. On a very hot Sunday afternoon, and with our tongues hanging out, this was the only place we found open. It is a pleasant place. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice cold beer and excellent local wine. Service was excellent. The young English speaking barman was very helpful. A very nice place to chill out.

We came for Apertivo and stayed for Dinner. I love the concept, part providore, wine bar & restaurant. Prices very reasonable. Good selection of wines by the glass, very good apertivo buffet. There is a restaurant with table service upstairs but in the end we chose to order a casual meal downstairs. Simple ravioli ricotta pumpkin fresca with sage and butter sauce, crusty bread & glass of vino. Very popular and Would go back again. Its near the outlets centre so convenient to go after shopping.

Our family enjoyed the food and drinks. Suitable for kids, and adults. (Two kids under 12 years) The service was excellent - the people were very nice and kind. We would definitely come here again! Menus in Italian and English but very local, fresh produce.

Just off the A1 motorway exit, this place could be seen as the typical stop for the sales rep in a hurry. Which it probably is, but the quality of it... As you enter, you are surprised: it's a motorway supermarket of the highest quality (cheese, ham, cured meats, wines, balsamic vinegar, all the possible typical local produce from the gastronomic capital of Italy...), but with a bar and also tables (in three separate areas) where you can have the most mouth-watering lunch. And a glass (or a bottle!) of great wine, if you are not driving. A fantastic surprise.

The place is not too far away from Fidenza and offers good food from the area, from the typical Culatello to the home made pasta. We had some nice pasta dish and the grilled meat was really tasty. The wine (Malvasia9 fruity and sparkling was really excellent. The dessert pretty good, we took a panna cotta with fruit and one with chocolate. Definitely choose the fruit one.
