Having just driven down from the Alps and booked in to Agriturismo Cavazzone we were famished and walked up to this trattoria a kilometre away. Full of locals enjoying a Saturday lunch eo we pitched in and sampled the excellent pasta plus a bottle of very passable Lambrusco. Yum!The service was straightforward and friendly and we sat outside enjoying the view of spring meadows filled with buttercups. The place has no pretensions of grandeur and is all the better for it.

Pranzo domenicale in famiglia davvero ben riuscito, quello che abbiamo trascorso allâAgriturismo Bellarosa. Edificio immenso e ristrutturato di recente, a mio parere con un Budget ed un risultato entrambi importanti. Ci mettiamo in una splendida posizione, da cui possiamo tenere sotto controllo i bimbi che giocano nel prato retrostante. Menù concordato a prezzo fisso, abbondante e di buona qualità . Antipasti con salumi, formaggi e salsine varie. Tortelli verdi meglio di quelli al tosone. Carni e contorni in abbondanza (abbiamo rinunciato al secondo secondo perché sarebbe stato veramente troppo) e torte eccellenti. We got recommendation for gnocchi frito - must try it, it is served with prshiutto crudo, prshiutto cotto, gorgonzola, mix of cheeses...There we discovered that their pizza is fantastic. Pastery is so, so thin!!! We love to eat in local restaurants, and this is exactly one. All guests are italians...

Went with a group of around 50 colleagues after a works conference. We took several tables in a section of the restaurant and had a variety of starters, various hams and cheeses followed by a pasta dish of spinach ravioli which was also pretty good. The main course of thin marinated pork slices with vegetables was also very good. All was washed down with numerous bottles of red Lambrusco and white sparking which made for a most convivial evening, accentuated by the fact I was not a driver!

They are the artists of making wonderful stuff using pork, other excellent ingredients and lots of love for their job. Their own Lambrusco is a perfect match for the sandwiches made with yellow bread (from the curcuma added to fight the cholesterol coming with the pork), bio-pork and other several things. The location is great, on the street linking two of the most squares of Reggio Emilia. The staff are very friendly and very dedicated to their products and their work. We were staying about 1.5 km up the road at Hotel Cavazzone, and decided to try this restaurant. We tried to go there personally to book, only to be told that they were fully booked for the next two evenings, so just as we were getting back into the car, a member of staff caught up with us to say they could fit us in tonight if we wanted to arrive early. So we arrived at 19:30 hours, and were treated to some starters (Free) in the main dining room, all of which were lovely, from Brushetta to various meats, all of which were cooked to perfection. We were then shown to our table on the terrace, which had absolutely amazing views over the hillside & Parma / Reggio Emillia. we ordered starters and mains, including a T Bone steak which was devine. Desserts were also very good and home prepared. The wine list was very comprehensive and the staff knowledgeable about regions and the menu. Highly recommend.

we were guests of friends in Reggio Emilia. We are Indians, we broke advise the owner and he suggested a tasting menu of seafood, appetizers acquired with refinement and excellent flavors of the sea. pasta dishes: rice with fresh fish, excellent and quality. The desserts were really good. Throughout the meal was accompanied by a wine called "Franciacorta" wonderful. The bill was balanced with the Quality, recommended for my Indian friends.
