Mico and Asia have a magical property, with a beautiful mix of edible and ornamental plants and trees. Mico is an incredible vegan chef. All the food was prepared from scratch with local ingredients, and many ingredients are harvested right from the property. Even the sauces were all prepared from scratch, and everything from the salad to dessert absolutely burst with flavor. The setting is serene and perfect for a special night out with friends or a quiet meal for two. Asia attended to all aspects of the meal with care, making sure all the guests were well taken care of. And the pricing was more than reasonable for such an incredible culinary experience. I highly recommend booking a dinner with Mico and Asia, you will be glad you did. I cannot wait to go back again!

This local restaurant on the main road from Vilcabamba to Yangana and Zumba offers tasty local food for good prices. The service is good and the owners are very friendly. A good place for who wants to try something else than some of the expensive tourist restaurants.

I've eaten in the main dining on the street and out back but the pool on the patio. I've eaten at lunch many times and a night a few times. All the waitstaff are warm, welcoming, and cheerful. They work very hard to be helpful. The food is very tasty; the prices are reasonable; the lunch special is a bargain - colorful and tasty - but small (they don't try the white rice and potato fillers); usually it's quiet, they have a full bar, and it's a place to relax as service is often slow.

The menu is often set with little variations. The prices are very low. The service is fast and the flavors mild. Ask for the "Aji" if you are from Mexico!
