Outside of Otavalo, Hacienda Pinsaqui is a lovely 18th-century manor house. It is a hotel and restaurant, which typically serves open dinners and lunches by appointment. The food is very good, especially the local pork platter. The prices are a bit high, since they exclusively cater to tourists. However, we were never disappointed with a meal here during our stay in the hotel. The bar is amazing too, one of the coolest that I've ever seen. I strongly recommend visiting!

We got perfect harmony of flavors on national and international cuisine, Tradition is our signature.
I debated between 3 or 4 stars as one meal was great (chicken and mushroom) and the other was not (grilled beef loin). I opted for potatoes instead of fries and they were not cooked (although fries were excellent). The veggies were cold. The waitress was very friendly though.

The best ecuadorian food.
Fritadas AmazonasIt is an exceptional place to visit, the interior is very pleasant spacious especially the comfort of the chairs, has a typical and familiar atmosphere, ideal to go with family friends or co-workers, offering a little varied menu (fries, typical dish Of the Ecuadorian sierra that consists of pig meat, steamed potatoes, mote type corn and roasted) but of a very good flavor. The service is very good, the weekends are usually very crowded, they do not have craft beer but if chicha is very rich by the way, the prices seem to me not very expensive. We went with the family back from Ibarra to San Lorenzo and we were all satisfied. The meat is very well prepared and the various companions were very good, they have a rich seasoning for the pieces of pork with good corn cobs a rich chili and a shale fresh cow's milk cheese a formidable attention. An excellent place to eat and relax with family, if you visit Ibarra do not miss going to this place, you will be completely satisfied and looking forward to returning to this place.

Part of the Hacienda Cusin in Otavalo
We visited this amazing hacienda for breakfast on Monday. Not only was the food amazing, the property is breathtaking! Walking into the main building is like stepping back 100 years in time! We spent over two hours here! We enjoyed well prepared scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and pancakes. The homemade strawberry jam is not to be missed! Pricing is extremely reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We met the owner, Nick whom is quite entertaining! We could have chatted with him all day!!We spent a good amount of time exploring the grounds after our meal, which I highly reccomend. The gardens are intoxicating! They even have llamas on the grounds! You'll most assuradly want to plan on at least two hours visiting Hacienda Cusin for dining and exploring...NOT to be missed!

Arbol de Montalvo restaurant is located in the back of our hotel Dona Esther. Please walk in on every night except Monday nights. During the weekends we're also opened for lunch and breakfast is of course every morning available (we have a nice choice in
Some of the best pizza Iâve had in Ecuador. The food is good and so is the service. It is a little expensive for Otavalo but I recommend. Thank you so much for your good recommendation! Quality Ingredients is a big part of what makes us better than the cheaper restaurants...always a difference.

After having a very pleasant lunch with my family we went to reserve an speed boat ride. The attendant indicated the time and cost and advised to reserve. After counting how many family members wanted to ride, we went back and made the reservation. I wanted to pay in advance and the guy indicated that there was no need and come back in 25 mins. We came back and was in the counter at the minute 24. To my surprise the very unprofessional attendant asked other group to start getting into the boat. I pointed my name in the reservation log and the attendant indicated that he was not sure we were going to ride the boat. Unbelievable. Two attempts to make sure we get the ride and waiting like 45 minutes after $300 lunch and not even an apology or attempt to make it right. After talking to the lady in the reception, the offer was to wait again other 25 mins. The fact that the lake view is great that doesnât translate in the worse customer service. Not a place I will recommend.

Donât confuse the Solid Rock Restaurant with the Solid Rock Plaza (where it used to be located) We have been served innumerable breakfasts and lunches and every time we eat to great satisfaction. Huevos Rancheros stand out as does the tuna in avacado. Charming atmosphere on Leather Street close to San Francisco Square.

A very decent and beautiful restaurant (in terms of exterior, interior, atmosphere and location). Took a taxi for USD5 from Otavalo city centre. Setting is so nice next to the lake, with swings and a small piece of grassland with alpacas nearby. The food is traditional Ecuador. But I didn't fine food yummy here. I ordered a chef traditional mix with chicken. It looks good but not tasty at all. The chicken cubes are chewy and dry. Overall once is enough, just for the views. I gave 4 rating basically for the atmosphere.
