NAKRYTO is Polish home-made cuisine relying on healthy and regional treasures of nature. We endorse simple cooking. The one we prepare for our dearest friends and family at home with lots of herbs, only organic spices and healthy Polish pickled vegetables
We had a meal here 25 October. It was a very enjoyable evening. Our waiter Catsper (incorrect spelling) was very helpful and always smiling. We had mixed perogi (shared) which were excellent. I had a vegetarian burger, which I enjoyed. I had a chocolate jelly dessert with coconut ice cream and a citrus/basil sauce (flavours really complimented each other). Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We definitely would return.

We had dinner here yesterday and were very pleased we did. The food was excellent, the portions were generous (especially the boneless pork "chop") and the prices were reasonable. Service was pleasant and efficient. We got a very nice complimentary liqueur too!The restaurant was very quiet so there was no atmosphere but some gentle jazz music helped a bit.Highly recommended - we may go back tomorrow.
Our restaurant is a unique place in Wieliczka, where you can taste mainly dishes from traditional Polish cuisine. Everything we offer is created with great care from regional products. We take care of every detail so that the dishes prepared by us will su

Situated opposite the entranc to the Salt Mines at Wieliczka
On a guided tour to the salt mines, our driver recommended to eat here just before entering the mine. The place was great and somewhere we wouldn't have stopped otherwise, so we were grateful to have stopped. The pierogies were truly delicious and came with a lovely warming borscht, which was perfect on a cold autumn day. My friends both had the sausage, cabbage and potatoes which they thoroughly enjoyed as well. All at a very reasonable price. A great stop!

Karczma Halit opened 18 years ago found a seat in the house boasting a documented history of over 370 years old. The oldest map of Wieliczka from 1638 of Marcin German's plan building is shown with the notation ,,Andruszkowskie". The fate of the buildings

Stumbled upon this cute hole in the wall (old mining shaft) restaurant with traditional Polish pierogi. Simple menu also provided in English with photos. Time from order to delivery was less than 5 mins and we watched the ladies make the pierogies from scratch. We ordered Ruskie pierogies, meat filled cabbage, mushroom pancakes (thicker than a crepe), 2 teas, and 2 Fantas. All up we paid AUD$13 to feed a family of 4!!!! We ordered 2 sweet pancakes at the end-one chocolate and one white cheese. Both were divine. Only AUD$4 more! It is not fine dining but it isnât fast food either. It is delicious home cooked Polish street food. Lovely owner too. Definitely worth visiting!!!

We stopped there for lunch on the way to Wieliczka Salt Mine. Very busy place, food portions so huge, its hard to finish. Blond waitress was very efficient and able to control situation despite crowd of people around. Well done. Only minus are toilets, only one for huge busy restaurant and people cueing. Anyway food was amazing and we liked décor as well.

We came to Szara Kasimierz early without a reservation.Although the restaurant was almost empty, we could only choose from 2 tables. But we accepted, ordered, our soups were rapidly served, tasted good and we were happy guests. But then a group of about 30-40 tourists entered the place and seemed to be celebrating the last evening of the trip. Although they were seated all together on the other side of the restaurant, the place got so noisy that we just wanted to finish our dinner, by skipping dessert and coffee and escape this mass tourist feeling as soon as possible. The food was good, the waitress was very kind and we appreciated her service (even though she gave us a wrong advice on the wine). But such a large group of guests definitively takes all the feel of a cozy place. In the end, our last dinner experience in Cracow was not what we had hoped for.We are glad that you are satisfied with our service and our cuisine. :) We are very sorry about the noise, but we have no influence on other guests.
