Weligama (Sinhalese: වැලිගම, Tamil: வெலிகாமம்) is a town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Matara District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. The name Weligama, literally means "sandy village" which refers to the area's sandy sweep bay. It is approximately 144 kilometres (89 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 9 metres (30 ft) above the sea level.

Great food, shisha, environment. Very friendly owner and staff, best night life in Weligamaâºï¸We kept coming back here every other night during our stay in Weligama and felt like at home. Itâs a brand new restaurant with a cosy interior.We love vegan food and this place has amazing options like falafels, hummus, interesting salad options. Generous portions to enjoy. They also have cocktails, beer, and other drinks.Ohhh thank you so much monika, what you said is so appreciated actually and im so happy to know that our customers are loving everything in bay-route even the small details.
