This restaurant is located within a sprawling compound that includes many family attractions like live animals, sjops and an interesting tractors' exhibition. The service and quality of food is optimal and very reasonably priced. My stewed lamb was tasty and very well cooked in a tasty gravy. The other main courses enjoyed by our family members were well received too.

There didnât seem to be many choices for somewhere to have something to eat beneath spectacular Orava castle, but the Toliar offers an attractive outdoor terrace with views up to it. We enjoyed a Shopska salad, sauerkraut soup, home-made lemonade and espresso - all for â¬10.80 for two.

Really nice food and traditional atmosphere. Highly recommended for the quality of food and the feeling at this restaurant. Unfortunately they seemed short-staffed at our visit, and consequently we waited a long time for our dessert. The waitresses were almost running back and forth between tables and the kitchen working non-stop, hopefully that was a one off incident and not a regular occurrence. The restaurant uses traditional hand-made ceramic crockery, which we actually liked so much we wanted to buy some, however the staff did not know where the plates were made so that wasn't possible.Worth a visit!

On our way back to Budapest from Katowice we wanted to eat spacial Slovakian food. We found Koliba Likava here on Tripadvisor. The restaurant was just like in the pictures and reviews. Very nice building in the hillside, with a backyard playground and front view on a castle. Cabbage soup and Bryndzove Halusky were both perfect choice. Waiter was really kind.

We absolutely loved the place: stunning scenery, the traditional wooden buildings, the quality interiors, the service, atmosphere. What a shame that it was raining and we could not visit Obrovo - the giant's village. Another reason to come back. The food was good, too. This was my most favourite "stop for lunch". Highly recommend (already did to a few people!).
