Waregem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋaːrəɣɛm]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality lies in the valley of the Leie River, between Kortrijk and Ghent. It is part of the arrondissement of Kortrijk and comprises the towns of Beveren, Desselgem, Sint-Eloois-Vijve and Waregem proper. On January 1, 2017, Waregem had a total population of 37,871. The total area is 44.34 km² which gives a population density of 854 inhabitants per km².

Gezellig restaurant, heerlijk eten, goede vriendelijke bediening. In de zomer ook de mogelijkheid om buiten te eten. Ruime parking voor het restaurant. Hier krijg je waar voor je geld. Aanrader!

Another visit to this steady value in the region. Friendly, personal yet reserved service. Cozy place. Excellent price/quality ratio. Only remark this time: the subsequent tapas of the chef's menus reflected a traditional local taste: chicken ragout (called vol-au-vent), salmon, spinach, ...With tapas, you would expect exotic, southern or mediterranean ingredients. It can be a deliberate choice of the chef for this month, but I think it is risky. Certainly if he wants to compete with Escabeche in Waregem...

Went there on Saturdaynight, from the moment we walked in we were feeling very welcome. we were taken upstairs to have our dinner. We had the menu of the month, a very good choice of fresh and delicious food. Service was great, waiters very friendly. We 'll be going there again, for sure.

Does what it says on the tin. A typical Chinese.Good food, lots of it. Very reasonable price. Slow service. I asked for a second drink and the waitress thought I wanted to keep my empty bottle.(Yes I should learn the language.)

Restaurant Het Houtvuur offers an excellent cuisine of fish (sole) and meat (Cote à L'os) at very reasonable prices. Service is rather slow.

Wonderful, we came here 3 nights for dinner. The fish is wonderful; everything from the kitchen was great quality. The service is friendly and professional. A great find. We were able to arrive early for dinner; otherwise you might need a reservation. Say hello to Steve, a great waiter and nice guy.
