The Fort on the Drecht is part of the historic water defense line of Amsterdam. So, it's an impressive historic building. And inside it, you can have pancakes in this restaurant. They recently changed ownership (March 2019), trying to give the restaurant new flair. We hadn't been here before, but the pancakes are really very good. Staff is super friendly, and of course the place itself is worth a visit. Certainly worth going to, very close to Amsterdam.

Went with out a reservation but based on the comments in the Tripadvisor. The restaurant probably eed more staff, half odf the tables ere empty but still was difficult to get the staff to take the order. The burger (as mentioned in many of the reviews here) was above average. I will not term is as Good. Soup was boiled beef in hot water !! Location - 4/10Ambiance - 7/10Friendliness of staff - 7/10Helpfulness - 3/10food quality - 4/10Return - NO

Ik heb hier tweemaal geluncht. Beide keren niet slecht maar ook niet bijster goed. De eerste keer mosselen met stokbrood, de tweede keer gamba's. Zoals gezegd, niet goed en niet slecht. Wat vooral opviel waren de hoeveelheid saus en de prijs. Beiden hadden wel wat minder gekund.

Nice house (little like Martin Berasategui) on lake shore (although no view, at least inside â there is a terrace too). Beautiful interior design. 6 course chefâs menu and a la carte. Everything was good in the menu. Good service, smooth pace â not too quick but not too slow either. Iâve visited many Amsterdam Michelin starred, and so far this is a clear winner.

This is another new place in town. The food is excellent, varied, different and well worth investigating. The location is stunning. Beautifully sat beside the river Amstel one can overlook the boats floating by AND enjoy a great meal.They are still trying to find their forté so they are changing things, improving things, adjusting things. All for the better - and far better than the other places in the vicinity.

This is a super ice cream parlour. I know you can buy other things to eat there but..... The service is friendly and the ice cream is wonderful. There is plenty of space to eat indoors on a cold day and lots of tables and chairs outside. However, as it is situated along the Amstel river, I like to eat my ice cream at one of the seats along the marina, so that I can watch the water, boats and ducks etc., especially when the sun is shining. An asset to Uithoorn.

If you want to go somewhere, knowing you can just have a carefree evening with excellent food and awesome staff, this is your place. The staff is really well trained and you can ask them anything while given an detailed answer and amazing hospitality. I have no words but perfection for the food. Everything is made with so much love, and thats exactly the taste of every dish. Next time, because there definitely will be a next time (and next, next and next time) we will try the tasting menu, as itâs multiple courses. The food is so awesome so why not (almost) have it all? Till next time lovely people. I had an amazing evening and you contributed to that big time!!Well thank you very much! This made us blush ;) Were very happy you enjoyed your evening so much! The best spare ribs in Europe, maybe the world! With such a great chef in the kitchen it wasnât a big surprise the food was so delicious but it exceeded our expectations, such a beautiful place with wonderful service and friendly staff! Highly recommended, 5 stars and will be back again without a doubt.

This restaurant has a great terrace overlooking the Amstel - enough shade when sunny and heaters when the weather starts to turn cooler. A very pretty location.Looks nice inside too, with good music.Service is pleasant and patient (they had to return several times to take our orders because we were chatting so much!)The food is good - a nice uitsmijter (with bacon!) and excellent cheesecake.

Very nice place to be, room only for a 20 to 25 people. Informal, very good food and nice wines. Fantastic view over the river Amstel and with nice weather the terrace is an option.
