Nicely located in old city center of Borculo, a small place in the East of Holland. Owned by same owner as the next door "Stenen Tafel" a nearly a *** restaurant. Great dishes, great choice of wine, friendly and professinal service. They have a beautifull terrace at the backside's waterfront with views to a centuries old water-mill Lunch dishes are brilliant as well. Overall very pleasant,, good quality and affordable. Not cheap !

Staff is very friendly, they have joy in their work and that shows. In the afternoon we went there for a drink, and a small bite to eat. Just good and fresh, the "Hazelnoottaartje" was great. We came back in the evening, having diner outside on their terrace (streetside) which is cool: sit and observe the bicyclists go by....We decided to only go go for main course, so selected the steak and schnitzel. Steak was as ordered, just right ! schnitzel was okay. came with fries and salad, No big dessert, just some cheese. One small remark, it help if you can explain what cheese it is and where it comes from and pls have a cheese knife instead of a fish knife. But those are small developing things. Good food, friendly service, great value.

We ordered a simple meal, sate menu with salad and fries. The chicken was just done, but still very white. The sate sauce was very thin and runny. The fries and salad were OK. The restaurant also feels old and run down. Would not eat here again.
We zaten op het terras en bestelden bier en Radler. Het restaurant ligt aan de weg naast de lokatie van de schietvereniging . Het is er goed toeven; ook in de tuin. De batterij van onze fiets kon hier worden opgeladen .

This place has a perfect view of Castle Ruurlo/MORE and you can enjoy eating or having drinks on the terrace or inside even if you don't plan to go to the castle (but you should, because it is beautiful).

De Heikamp never disappoints with their pancakes and friendly atmosphere in the woods. I have yet to stray away from my staple choice (spekpannenkoek), but I donât feel the need either because they do do a good standad pancake. The location is great as well with plenty of opportunity to go for walks in the woods or visit the maze.

The owners of the B&B (Haas in de Bedstee) we were staying at recommended this restaurant to us. The restaurant looks like a former farm house, and has a large quiet garden, where we had an aperitive and some snacks. The lady who owns the restaurant greeted us warmly and gave us advice about our choice of food and wines. Strangely enough for the warm August month, most dishes on the menu were "wintery" dishes, like stews, meats with heavy sauces, classic French. We dined inside in their patio, which is spacious and since one of us moves around in a wheelchair, that worked really well. The interior has green and yellow colours, plastic lilies in silver vases. They have a large selection of wines, and we picked a nice Meursault. Overall a nice dining experience.

We had a business dinner as I decided to stop on the Restaurant's Hotel and really we enjoyed that. Food comprises large list of starters, particularly interesting the local specialities like deer ham and carpaccio, sausages and cheese. As main course you've the choice of several specialities too: teriyaki grill, deer and beef steaks, salads, desserts, all made in a non convention way which give a touch of "nouvelle cuisine" made in the Dutch farmer style. Price in line with this type of restaurant like everywhere in Europe.I recommend .

Cozy and homely genietcafé. Large play area for small children with durable wooden toys. Separate lounge with library for seeking peace. Large terrace for our monument. Exhibition and art. Homely interior and fully organic cuisine. Within 60 seats, 48 out
Location is superb in a quiet garden courtyard. Good weather that day certainly helped but I can see how I can enjoy the place even on a gloomy day. My friend and I both had the croquette on bread, which was very nice. The selection was not huge but adequate. Service was good. We felt welcomed and our orders were taken promptly with patience to explain the Dutch menu, and the food was served without too much of a wait. I can see myself coming back here again.Beste Vortexz,Hartelijk dank voor uw feedback. Leuk om te lezen en graag tot ziens!
