The restaurant is adjacent to the castle and the glorious landscaped gardens. The menu is simple but well selected with mainly Dutch dishes. Food is good and hot when served. The service staff are friendly and charming. After your visit you can either visit the gardens or get a tour in the castle (both subject to extra charge) Make sure you check on the opening days and times which may vary. Thank you for the positive review. Nice to read that you enjoyed the food, the service and the beautiful place.

We had fresh sole, prepared just as we like it. The restaurant is staffed with primarily disabled people and that did not hamper the service a bit. Good house wine, not expensive. Very much worth a visit.

Went here with 10 people after a full day of meetings. Although everyone ordered something different, they managed to create a very nice dining experience for us all: with small dishes in between. Nice food, nicely presented and staff (server) was excellent, explaining all dishes to everyone individually. Excellent evening!

Old friends who live here took us to enjoy an evening meal. I had herring as a starter and halibut to follow. Both were delicious. We drank house white wine - the Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. Two courses each â¬217 including tip.

Romantisch en knus restaurant direct gelegen aan de Loosdrechtse plassen, goede internationale keuken maar ookregionale gerechten. Goede bediening, ongedwongen sfeer
De Eend, calls themself a "brasserie". Well, that is, what is says (for the Dutch). A limited menu, with of course various duck dishes. Both the design of the restaurant and the service is a bit farmer style. Not very sophisticated, but efficient.

This place is really nice and their staff is very friendly and helpfull. All our food and drinks were delicious, however we had to wait for a cold wrap more than 30 mins. it was worth the wait, but only if you have the time. place has relaxed atmosphere. will come back.

The concept of dishes larger than appetizers but smaller than entrees is great. There is a nice range of food choices. The staff was super friendly and service was excellent and the place more crowded than any restaurant I've ever been to in Hilversum. Prices were fair. They had an English menu for my colleagues.
