This authentic brewery is a beautiful building. It is located in a newly renovated neighbourhood, close to the banks of the Leie river near the Broeltorens, a local attraction. Now an imitation of the Graslei in Ghent. Service was friendly and efficient. This brasserie has a decent kitchen and a long menu list. All by all, a little expensive ... Perhaps time for a make-over here as well ...

Traveled to Kortrijk with a group on business. The new owners (Husband and wife) provided excellent hospitality, fantastic food, and a very lovely atmosphere for our dining experience. The wok bowls are awesome, as were the steaks and pork cheeks. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Kortrijk experience. Food and wine are decent. The outside terrace is nice. Tables are very close, so this is the place for a romantic tête à tête, contrary to what the previous reviewer stated.Warning: they have no form of electronic payment whatsoever. I had to run to the bank afterwards. Fortunately, they trusted me.So, all by all a decent place to have lunch or dinner. Only the speed of the kitchen remains my biggest concern. Especially at noon; in the evening this would be less of a problem.

Good location and stylish interior decoration. Interesting menu at 45â¬. But service is hesitant, not up to par. The sole meunière was average. The tagliata as well (go and compare with to the unsurpassed tagliata in Bleu Blanc in Waregem for instance). Definetely not my day!!! It was friday evening and the place was packed. However, I have had dinner in other packed places and never been treated as bad. To start with, the dishes they offer are quite simple and expensive, if your consider the quality. I decided to have the Lobster Bisque, the Salmon Carpaccio as well as a glass of "Riesling". I was served a little entree while waiting (nice touch).But then the nightmare began. When the soup arrived, it was poured from a sort of a teapot and the waiter was such in an hurry when he filled the bowl that he spattered more soup on the table and on my shirt than into the bowl. For crying out loud, I serve my dogs better than that. Ridiculous! Later, as the waiter came to remove the bowl he also removed the little "entrée" he had so generoulsly brought at first. I wasn't done! He didn't even asked! He just took it away! What a clueless moron!The fun part is when he asked me if I was finished and I told him: "Yes". I then waited 10 minutes for him to return and ask me if I wanted a dessert or coffee. "No, thank you. Just the bill" You are not going to believe this, but I actually waited 45 minutes. That's right; 45 minutes. And this moron was still serving other tables around me, looking at me from time to time; I figured he was going to realize he had forgotten about me. BUT NO! This brainless geek never did. Ridiculous!So I finally got up and left. Actually left the restaurant. I was so angry that I had decided that I was not going to pay. But I guess my conscience and my upbringing did not allow me to keep on going and yes, I did return to the restaurant and went directly to the manager to explain my anger, which he very politely understood. So, next time, if you ever go there, remember to bring a bib and your laptop. Ridiculous!

A year ago, when we wrote our first review report on this restaurant, we had the impression that the owners didn't care. We did not feel welcome. Well, this has changed. The interior decoration is improving, the service is warm, welcoming and efficient, the house wine more than acceptable and the food is getting decent.Keep on the good work! Just another hint for improvement: loud clients hanging at the counter of the bar, ventilating their latest political opinions and jokes in the local dialect (which in other circumstances I like very much), conflict with the quaint, cozy, stylish, artistic, authentic, quiet, quirky, private stetting of the mezzanine-level restaurant and disturb the conversation at our table.Dear owners and staff, continue to rethink the scenario from the customers' point of view. Just ask them.

Visited with family on an annual visit to Kortrijk , which has many wonderful restaurants throughout, as has Belgium which to me has the Best Kitchens in Europe. This restaurant located close to the old church has wonderful food great variety and good selection of wine. Located in the outskirts of Kortrijk, in a new industrial area, this restaurant is situated in what looks like an old farmhouse. Nice interior decoration and warm welcome. Efficient service. Staff is exclusively female, except for the chef, as far as we could see. Maybe coincidence. The quality/price ratio of the menu is very good. No flexibility was offered to replace an item in the menu. Wines are a little expensive indeed, but well chosen.In a brasserie you may expect a lot of noise. But the acoustics in the room are quite bad. This always happens with a V-shaped ceiling and no other sound-deadening materials.
