Hier verschillende keren geweest lang geleden, was volgens mij toen toch beter en gisteren nog eens bezocht daar mijn favoriete broodjeszaak dicht was. Ik vind het toch maar matig nu. Een hoop wachtende mensen, te weinig personeel, wachten op het brood dat moest worden afgebakken en dat op een middaguur? En ik vind hun broodjes niet wauw. Wellicht zijn ze de enige in Genk centrum of waren ze vroeger beter. Ik vind het stokbrood zelfs niet lekker. 20 minuten wachten voor 1 broodje, er liepen klanten weg, begrijpelijk, normaal haal je snel een broodje uit tijdens de lunchpauze. Personeel op verlof, begrijp ik ook, zet dan jobstudenten in.

This is a nice and cozy place with very friendly staff and service. There is a beautiful long table, which supports conversation.We had bread with smoked salmon and monkey pancakes which was both pretty tasty. There is a "all day breakfast" offer.We were there with our < 1 year child and could use a high chair. There was also enough space for our buggy.Danke sehr!

Gestopt tijdens fietsroute voor een cappuccino hier op een mooi en verzorgd terras.De cappuccino was heel lekker,we hebben er van genoten in het zonnetje.Komen hier nog wel eens snoepen.

We wanted to find somewhere to have a late breakfast/early lunch with healthy options.Wish we had found here earlier on our little trip in Genk.Great place. Fab food choices. Great service and staff.We also ordered baguettes, yummy cakes & drinks to take away for our continued drive. The staff put our takeaway bag in the fridge to keep cool until we finished eating. This is the service level others should attain to.

Good fries in the centre of Genk. Clean place and very friendly staff. Pricing is reasonable. Some of the meats on higher side but not exaggerated. Worth going back again.

We went here with friends and had the luck to have a wonderful warm and sunny day in March. So we sat outside on he terrace. The service was fast, however when we received our order she mixed it repeatedly between tables. Half of our orders finally ended up with us, while the rest was nowhere. When they after 10 minutes came back with the rest, also there they mixed things up, again having brought half to another table. Needless to say half of the food was cold. The beer was good though (Kerel dark IPA)We are happy to hear you enjoyed the food. We do appologize for the service. An unexpected illness in our team on such a sunny day can cause some chaos. New teammembers had to replace a steady crewmember so we were aware of the problem.I do hope we can serve you again in the future and let us know, weâll make it up to you with one of those beers! â¤ï¸

Located in the Hotel Stiemerheide. Friendly services. Food is average, and a bit pricy. A pity because the previous chef who was excellent, now started the adjacent Restaurant "De Kristalijn" which grew into excellent place.Corneille should improve and keep price/quality in balance. The Brasserie in the same hotel, although with the same cook, is better value for money and, waether permitting has a nice terrace
