They have a great lunch menu, which changes every week. Restaurant gets visited both by business people as well as casual dining. For children there is a big indoor playground in the back.Food is very nice, waiters are friendly, seats are comfortable, atmosphere is good.

I have been here a few times and never been disappointed! Everything is here for a nice evening/lunch. Worth trying is the steak tartare,it's handmade at your table. This is the way a steak tartare should be. But the other dishes are also really good!

De volledige naam is "Restaurant Jonkman bvba, 't Mosselke"Ideaal gelegen op de hoek van de straat en een mooi gebouw.Binnenin alles piekfijn in orde: onberispelijk proper...mooi met frisse tafellakens.Joviale verwelkoming...uitstekende bediening.De mossels hebben gesmaakt, met een karaf witte huiswijn. Mossels natuur met brood. Fijne nasmaak.Prijzen normaal... En... een zaaltje, volledig afgesloten van het restaurant voor een "tussengerecht"= een sigaret. Een rokerslokaal dus.Buiten het mosselseizoen ook andere gerechten te krijgen (o.a. paling).Zeker dat ik een regelmatige klant word.

Geen locatie voor een rustige tête-à -tête of een romantisch etentje maar zeker een aanrader voor een snelle hap en of etentje met de familie of de vriendenkring. Een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een fietstocht door de Kalkense meersen of langs de noorden van de Schelde. Ruime parking. Ook een bezoek aan de stokerij of de Heirmanklok kunnen het restaurantbezoek aanvullen. Wij kozen voor de berloumi-salade (heel lekker) en de zalm met béarnaise saus. De zalm kon je vinden onder een dikke laag saus. Ik geef de voorkeur aan een sauspannetje maar dit bederft de pret zeker niet. De locatie loont zeker de moeite waard voor een bezoekje.

At the menu a variety of brasserie dishes (fish and meat). Good taste and food, but I thought this was rather expensive for what you get. The menu and dishes are brasserie quality and brasserie dishes, but prices are restaurant prices! There was a lot of personnel (too much to be honest) and the numbering of their tables was a real mess. They brought our appetizers at another table and when another table asked the bill, they brought our bill. The interior is an old barn and very dark. To me, it was not very attrative to come here again for diner. I'd rather come here to have a drink in the afternoon at the large terrace.
