Egg Haven was clean provided timely service with a full house. Menus were dirty and should be replaced. Outdoor seating area and servers were pleasant. Prices were reasonable and kids plate pancake was robust and as tasted as expected. Benedict was good, they fry up their English muffins with butter giving them a crispy texture I found unique. We ate twice during our visit after walking out of another place close by that looked filthy.

I have only had the opportunity to visit twice but will defiantly be back every time I am in the area. Fantastic place to eat. Service was excellent, food great and prices extremely reasonable. The staff treats you like an old friend and is very attentive, it's nearly impossible to empty a coffee cup without someone waiting to refill it. They make sure you want to come back.

Had breakfast there for the first time. Good selection, very fast service, friendly staff, food cooked exactly the way we ordered it. They have good coffee and know how to make perfect grits!! A big plus for me.This small diner is clean, bright, nicely decorated, comfortable seats, has 3 outside tables for people with pets or smokers. Will go back to try lunch items sometime soon.

I have eaten breakfast at the Winter Garden Restaurant a couple of times. The restaurant is located in Winter Haven and shares the building with a Chinese restaurant next door. However parking shouldn't be an issue most of the time, as the restaurant is only open past 2:00pm a couple days a week. Upon entering the restaurant you find your own table or booth to sit at. There is also a few seats at the counter as well.The menu is pretty basic when it comes to its offerings, which you might expect from a diner style restaurant. There are several different options of omelettes, skillets, as well as pancakes, waffles and other egg dishes. I ordered the smokehouse omelette which came with smoked sausage, green peppers, and ham. With the omelettes you get your choice of type of potato or grits and choice of bread. The omelettes are made with three eggs, however they must have been small ones as the omelette itself was small. The portion of grits was also disappointingly small. The service was good, however none of the staff really seemed like they really wanted to be there. The waitress was nice and did stop by once to check up on me. Although there was definitely room for improvement. Prices were also slightly higher than what they should have been for the type and quality of food offered. They are not too high where it is an issue though.If you are in the area and looking for a fast place for breakfast I would recommend the Winter Garden Restaurant. I just would not go out of your way to come here. It is close to the Winter Haven museums down the road, so it might be a good spot for lunch as well.
