While driving to Florida, we wanted a restaurant other than a chain along I-65. Looked on tripadvisor and found Northside Cafe. Not much of a building though it has a very distinctive look. Inside, plain and simple though it could use some fresh paint. However, we got a warm welcome by the locals, waitress, and the owner. Breakfast was great with plenty of coffee. You must have the sausage link with your breakfast. Delicious! We even returned there for breakfast on our way home to Chicago. We will definitely stop in again when we travel through Tifton .

How can you go wrong, it's Waffle House. This one is better than most, the staff see to it. It was crowded and we had to wait a little for a table, but service began immediately after we were seated. the food was hot as always, the service was spot on, the cook was slinging food as fast as he could, and the price was right. If you're in Tifton, stop in here, they know how a Waffle House should be run.

It starts with a warm welcome as you walk in, followed up by absolutely fantastic service. Our server, Mandi, couldn't have been more delightful and attentive. The food came out quickly and was positively delicious. And the prices are super reasonable. You just can't beat that combination!
