Stockton was founded by Captain Charles Maria Weber in 1849 after he acquired Rancho Campo de los Franceses. The city is named after Robert F. Stockton, and it was the first community in California to have a name not of Spanish or Native American origin. The city is located on the San Joaquin River in the northern San Joaquin Valley and had an estimated population of 320,554 by the California Department of Finance for 2017. Stockton is the 13th largest city in California and the 63rd largest city in the United States. It was named an All-America City in 1999, 2004, 2015 and again in 2017.

Huge fluffy pancakes! They also have the silver dollar pancakes for kids. Always a tasty fast breakfast. Super friendly servers! I've only been for breakfast so I can't tell you about lunch. I've had omelets, skillets, pancakes and it's all been delicious!

This IHOP just recently opened and developing full steam as many people flock to this all-time favorite restaurant at this West Stockton, CA location. Managed and run by manager, Wade Hampton, who transferred from Sacramento, CA; Wade's IHOP here in Stockton is swarming with Sacramento hospitality.The newly remodeled store (previously a Carrow's Restaurant) is quite exquisite and upscale in design, in quality of food offered, and overall service, manned by a very hospitable and friendly staff. Just from the initial entry into the restaurant,to being seated at a very comfortable table, we can't feel that this IHOP will be one of our favorite choice to patronize. After our delicious meal and excellent service, our initial intuition was correct. If you in the Stockton, CA area for whatever reason, come and visit March Lane IHOP location, right off the I-5 freeway. You will be welcomed and treated like royalty by Wade Hampton and his wonderful staff. And not to forget what you are here for; everything on the menu look piping delicious. You are here for a nice meal, and that, you will receive and much more. Our server, Lisa L. was simply charming and wonderful. Ask for Lisa when you come. We're sure the rest of the staff will also treat you just as wonderful.Come with an appetite and leave with a satisfied smile. IHOP, The restaurant that will leave you hopping for more..

Great burgers and fries! Love that they have mini milkshakes for the kiddos. I've heard the garlic fries are tasty but I haven't tried. I always get the Blue Moo and it's huge and I rarely finish it. My son gets the Breakfast Moo with an egg and secret sauce on toast with a burger. My daughter gets the corn dog which she always loves. Love that they serve beer/wine if I'm up for one with my burger. Always great service.

We tried Flips for the first time and really enjoyed the food. It's a bit of a dive, but the burgers and fries are delicious. They offer some unusual standard and daily special burgers with peppers, avocados, and other sandwich meats thrown in. Didn't try the shakes but will do so the next time there. Good place for a quick delicious lunch fairly close to Hwy 99. Recommended. Cheers!

Love the local diner style places, and especially those that truly are local.Fresh cooked food, friendly staff, and local atmosphere make this a wonderful place. Menu included a number of daily specials and plenty of food was delivered.Food was cooked properly and the soup was very good.Service was a bit sparse but they were swamped so not a big concern.Recommend.

Visited the Stockton area recently for a Heat hockey game and wanted to find something, good, fun, and unique for our family for dinner. We were so happy to discover Waterloo!! Quaint ambiance, excellent service and the food and drinks were outstanding! We visited on a Friday evening and the place was packed but manageable. The staff did a great job of handling the crowd and getting us seated in a reasonable time. They make their own BBQ sauce here which is excellent and slightly different from other places. Believe the other glowing reviews about the pesto as well. A great experience and will definitely return!
