Von der Gemeinde Mels bis zum Restaurant Morgenstern dauert die Fahrt mit dem Auto den Melser Berg hoch Ca.10min. GroÃer Parkplatz. Ein groÃes Plus die sehr schöne Aussicht.Das gemütliche Restaurant hat je nach Bestuhlung bis zu Ca. 100 Sitzplätze. Weil es von Sept. an bekannt ist für Wildspezialitäten ist eine RESERVIERUNG unbedingt zu empfehlen. AuÃergewöhnlich sind die groÃen Tellergerichte und die sehr gute Qualität. Auch im Service gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Ebenfalls stimmt das Verhältnis; Preis - Leistung.Hierfür verdient das Restaurant ein "ausgezeichnet"!Darum NICHT EIN AUSZEICHNET;Nach unserer Meinung würde sich ein kleiner Umbau ( Schallpegel und Lüftung ) bezahlt machen. Im hinteren Teil ist es so laut und warm, dass man nicht mehr miteinander reden kann resp. einander nicht mehr versteht!

The title might be a little misleading. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The staff was friendly and the beer good. The interesting part is that is that we only speak English and a little Czech which is not a problem because we just use Google translate. Only problem was we could not get signal in the restaurant. But we had fun trying to figure out the menu and the staff tried to help but their English was about as good as our German. But we managed and had a great meal of schnitzel and cordon blue. We will talk about this meal with fond memories. Great place to eat but brush up on your German.

Sven Wassmer and the Team Are just amazing! We had the 9 course dinner. Location at resort amazing with great interior. The bread is just top. Best ever. Service top. Try and see. Itâs the restaurant to be. Thank you for this unique experience and I will come back
